Customer Reviews & Photos of Rub 'n Restore®
Removed from the wood frame, this shows how badly bleached the back was (and the discrepancy in the coloring).

High quality service and product! A rare find!
I saw this product reviewed online. I thought it was hard to believe--turning a worn out looking leather chair into a new looking chair. However, we had purchased a 20 year-old leather chair that was in perfect condition...except it had been sun bleached on the back (the originally dark red chair was light pink on the back). There were also parts where it was dark (covered by wood arms) and light (exposed to sun). But, I finally got the courage to purchase and try it out. I couldn't believe it! We have a new looking chair! After using the color, I finished it off with the satis sealer mixed with a little bit of the color. Within hours...More

Within hours of finishing the project, my husband sat in it to watch TV with a white T shirt on....I was worried, but no color transferred at all. Even as I write this, I realize this sounds like a commercial, and sounds unbelievable. If you have a project, I'd suggest you check it out.
Rub 'n Restore Chili Leather Finish
Excellent. YouTube video was super helpful. I was skeptical using this on our Stickley leather chair - small tear repair and cracking - but was easy to use with brilliant results!
Couch looks fantastic. Very easy to apply and not sticky.
Great stuff
Great stuff. I used it over a very black leather jacket and the coverage was impressive. With only one coat it looked good. Some splotchiness, but not bad, and as I said that was only one coat. Several coats would have made it impressively smooth. Five-stars! Will use again!
New finish for Pontoon Boat Interior
Several coats were needed to hide age spots and sun-fading, but the old girl's interior looks great now! Product viscosity and coverage are very good. One bottle goes a long long way! Putting a couple of squirts of product in a plastic storage container and spreading with a foam brush makes for easy application and leaves a perfectly smooth finish.
I LOVE THE SEAFOAM
I was asked by my doctor if I can restore handbags - specifically, her precious handbag she purchased while on a vacation of a lifetime in Italy, a bag that she had accidentally stained with sunscreen. I told her it would be very difficult to impossible to remove the oil based stain, but that I could try, but also told her that I could re-dye it.
I used the Seafoam RubnRestore and it came out beautifully!!
I love all the RubnRestore products - they all work excellently! Highly recommend!

Our sofas came out really really nice. We had to buy two bottles instead of one, but it did the job very nice. I recommend this paint to anybody for their leather couches. Thank you so much.
perfect match
Worked Great
My leather chair had some a few small partial splits in the leather, and minor cracking of the finish in the seat area. I got a consultation, and Lesandre recommended the cat scratch kit for the one section. The wine sample looked very close to the chair color for the finish, but I also ordered a smaller bottle of the cherrywood just in case.
I also ordered the cat scratch kit, along with the clear prep and finish.
The cat scratch kit worked great - I can't tell it was even there now. I was worried it might be noticeable as a harder portion of the leather, since it was in the arm rest area, but I don't feel any difference at all.

The wine finish went on easily, and blended in perfectly. The clear finish also went on easily, and matched the existing finish. I was very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend the products!

32 years old and almost new
As you can see, the vinyl sun pad for the back of my 1994 Sanpan pontoon boat needed some work. It now looks almost new after using Rub ‘n Restore. If you follow the steps provided by the staff at Rub ‘n Restore, you will be amazed at the transformation from old to new. Enjoy.
An excellent cleaner and easy to use.
Yellowed leather Bedframe
I bought an expensive leather bed on facebook and I honestly did not realize how yellowed it was until I got home. I discovered this product doing my research. I was amazed how well it worked. It did take seven coats but I was doing bright white and the video did say white is the most translucent. I was very careful and used a foam brush and did very thin coats and checked for any drips before drying.
Very brown
came out brown and was mosit
The filler goes on white and dries more clear, effectively acting like a clear coat which can make the underlying surface look darker. Color is always needed to conceal a repair. If you believe you received a defective, please email us photos and more info at info@rubnrestore.com.
Repair faded recliner and couch arms.
This stuff lived up to its advertisement! Perfectly matched and like new. Same color and sheen! I’m amazed. I won’t have to purchase new furniture now.
Project results and insights
Treated 3 couches, two pillows, and 4 chairs/recliners. Offer the following advice. Lighter colors are harder to blend than darker. On lighter leather possible ignore glue option. Overall it looks good, blending and reinforcing colors. It does not take much product, so go with the smaller bottles. Our leather just absorbed these very quickly. Be patient and ready to move around the piece to get the job done. Constantly evaluate your progress to catch missed areas or corrections. You can do this project and save a lot of money..... Happy with the products, but check out slowly as the shipping options default to the higher charges. Suggest buying color samples first.
We are very much satisfied with the color match. It turned out great. We learned as we gave 3 coats to each boat cushion.
Sorry no pictures. I would recommend your company always. Simple business transactions and whatever they promised, they fulfilled.

Excellent Product
This product along with the satin sealer worked fantastic on restoring the original vinyl carriage top on my 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Cartier. It went from faded purple to a rich burgundy. Very easy to apply and work with, make sure you take the time to prepare your work area and you won’t be disappointed.
highly recommended
I changed a leather chair from brown to green. It looked great, but the color quickly started to come off where my dog likes to sit. Come to find out changing color and dogs isn't recommended, but Lassandra was really helpful and sent me this cross linker to mix into the green. The color is holding up much better. And it's easy to touch-up. Great products and customer service!
