Clear Prep+Finish™ or a glaze is strongly recommended to seal all reds.

Rub ‘n Restore® products are not recommended for fabric, suede, nubuck or faux (bonded) leather. Learn more about material types or peeling bonded leather.
It seems to feel a bit different than the actual material than what was started with. I’ll be curious to see how it lasts.
Your customer service is exceptional as well. Emails were answered promptly. It is good to know there is someone on the other end rather than a stock letter or response.
Here are some before and after photos if you wish to publish. I put these up on Instagram with your hashtag and have gotten multiple responses on how good it looks.
Wish we'd had the opportunity to consult on this fun project. A table (which experiences more liquids, cleaning) would perhaps do better with a special order acrylic-urethane sealer.

I finished with a glaze of 2 parts dye 1 part Clear.
My friends are loving the progress!
The process for refinishing the leather was well explained in the materials that came with the shipment. I was able to totally stain the sectional and chair within 2.5 hrs. After drying for about 4 hrs, I buffed out the color with a white cotton cloth to remove excess and minimize any color transfer. The cloth picked up some residual color and gave the finish a nice luster like polishing shoes. I could not believe the results!! The couch and recliner look brand new and the color match was perfect! The best $75 I have spent in a long time.
Thanks to the RNR team for their help and their fantastic product.
I sent a sample to the company for a custom color. My furniture was so badly faded that even a custom color matched to the original would have required dyeing the whole chair. They analyzed the sample and recommended a mixture of Rust and Cherrywood and include a free empty bottle for easy mixing.
