I had an aniline leather loveseat that had seen better days. It was stained, had a few cat scratches and was also the wrong color for my current decor. I found Rub 'n Restore while researching my options. I thought I couldn't go too far wrong so, after asking for and receiving samples (twice), I ordered the Cherrywood and Clear Prep+Finish. I had watched all the videos, so I proceeded to fix the cat scratches, then I made a glaze by mixing the two products to achieve a mottled finish. Outstanding results!
I've never worked with leather before, so I was totally new to this, but am so thrilled with the results! I got a large 3 piece leather sectional for free. It was completely faded and worn with an area of damage from the owner's dog's nails. I figured it was worth a try since I got it for free anyway. After scrubbing it for hours with 409 and getting thick layers of dirt off, I was able to do the fun part of using Rub and Restore. Now the sectional is beautiful! My family just can't believe how much better it looks! Exceptional product!!!

We have finished restoring our sofa, chairs and ottoman and are very happy with the results! The process was very easy. I applied about 3 coats of dye and finished off with a single coat of clear. Thanks for your help…you have a great product.

Used 409 to clean. Used cellulose sponge to wipe on dye and another for clear. Fast and easy and like new!

Thank you so much for the youtube videos, the assistance on the phone, and for sending me the perfect products for my needs. I got a used real leather couch and loveseat set for $100. I cleaned them thoroughly with 409, then applied the stain followed by the clear coat. The set looks like new and I have already highly recommended your products and your company to my friends and family.

This product is excellent. I ordered taupe color and is a little lighter than the original , that is the only reason i gave four stars instead of five. But i covered whole chair anyways and i have plenty of product left for sofa . I ordered the large bottle with a small bottle of the finish. I was surprised at how fast it dried . My husband says it looks new again, and was thankful we didnt have to buy new furniture !!!! I would recommend this to everyone i know !

It was my fault but it is a long story so will not get into that. Anyway, I took it to leather shops and shoe repair shops just to see if someone could match the color and fix it. Everyone said no they couldn't. I eventually sent it to Leather Spa in NY and they did fix it but after one use it starting wearing off. So it ended up looking exactly the same as before they "fixed it". In all fairness to them they did say it would be a temporary fix. But I was desperate. So eventually I found Ru...More

They even sent me the costume color so I could do repairs myself if I need to in the future. They have been so helpful, contacting me by phone to discuss the project. I just can't praise them enough. I am so grateful I found them and they did this for me.
