AMAZING Stuff! There are no other words.
Rub n Restore is creamy, pigment rich, easy to apply, and comes in all these beautiful colors. I was really blown away by the application being so easy and the pigment being so creamy and full coverage, as well as drying fairly quickly so you can add more coats in a day if needed. Our project did end up taking several weekends over 2 months letting it cure in between when we were busy. I ended up buying 2 additional small bottles and reaching out for help from the company due to this ash color streaking once it dried down even after at least 4 coats because our climate is very dry and we added some of the matte clear coat to the last coat of ...More

I was really blown away by the application being so easy and the pigment being so creamy and full coverage, as well as drying fairly quickly so you can add more coats in a day if needed. Our project did end up taking several weekends over 2 months letting it cure in between when we were busy. I ended up buying 2 additional small bottles and reaching out for help from the company due to this ash color streaking once it dried down even after at least 4 coats because our climate is very dry and we added some of the matte clear coat to the last coat of paint which was not a good idea. I had to apply at least 4 more coats after that even though we had full coverage and color saturation, but needed more paint to get rid of the tonal streaks. I had also tried adding water to a couple of the coats and lightly spraying water to keep the paint wet while working with it, per recommended steps, which was a bad idea and also created streaks at dry down because my ottoman is very smooth leather and had no texture to the finish. Needed it to be smooth and perfect, which I finally got by adding a few more coats of paint and not using any clear coat at all. Foam sponge also does not work well, had the best results with a sponge wrapped in terry cloth for stain application that we got at Home Depot. Whew! We love it though, we gave new life to a free ottoman but did end up spending less than $100 in paint to do so.

Changed sofa, two chairs and ottoman from light yellow to ash gray. The end result was very good but required 8 to 9 coats. Would use again but would not look forward to the process.

    Excellent product
I used the ash grey to tone down the yellowish color of my kitchen chairs. They were almost an almond color and didn’t go well with my granite and backsplash. My chairs only had padded seats, so it was an easy job. I did four thin coats and they came out amazing! I hope they hold up, because they really look beautiful!

Better than it was, but not perfect!
When I began I had high hopes because it covered so well, but then there were little spots that just weren't covering. I went over and over it for days. I would wait for it dry then do another coat. I'd come back the next day and repeat. And finally I got most of the black covered. It's real hard to work around the moving parts on the arms and I couldn't figure out how to get them off, so it's not clean around them. Also, there are a few spots where the final coat bubbled. It's far better than it was but I would not have been happy if I paid for this to get done. I'm pretty handy but just couldn't get this perfect. However, I hated the black ...More

However, I hated the black on my RV seats from the day I bought it and finally finished the captains chair after a few weeks. Now I have to order more product to finish the passenger chair. I went through a 4 oz and half of a 2 oz container - WAY more than I anticipated, but overall cheaper than re-upholstery! (Sorry, didn't show the before... this pic is better...)

I was about to change my pedicure chair just because I did not like the color and it did not match with the colors I wanted for my at home nail business. I searched the internet and found this on YouTube. I was a bit skeptical but with all the positive reviews and YouTube video I gave it a shot. I am so glad I did. I saved my chair and gave it a make over. I used Ash on the Brown seat cover and it covered that brown so well that I am shocked. I love it! I would definitely recommend this product and it was affordable. I used an 8oz bottle and used about a little less then half. It was easy to apply. I would suggest to switch the sponge to a cl...More

I would suggest to switch the sponge to a clean fresh one when doing the last two applications. I have some left over incase I need to retouch. I did not put a clear over because I wanted the matte look not the shiny. Now I just have to call and find out what can I use to disinfect my chair between clients without messing up the paint. Good thing I have some left over. Love this product! It did exactly what I needed and wanted.
Thank you for inventing it and making it easy!

Glad to hear! Disinfectants and harsher cleaners will likely strip the finish. Perhaps the Dull or Satin Sealer would be a good idea? It's a special order item, so please call or email us.

Great product! Did a Florida convertible interior and it covered well, conditioned and took away water and burnt leather defects. Can’t thank you enough for making it look new again 26 years (and too many hot sun days) later. Made a world of difference on the door panels too!

Used your product two years ago on brand new tan storage bench seat. I changed it to light gray. Awesome results then and a good two years later still looks like the day I did it.
Good job ladies!!! I would have no problem selling this product it’s awesome.

I have a cream beige sectional. Decided to dye it Ash (gray). It took 3 days, patience, and alot of work. But so worth it. I is almost perfect.

Here are a couple of pictures of the Corvette. I just dyed specific areas inside of the vehicle (steering wheel, airbag, door panels). Originally it was all black inside. These pictures really don’t do justice, because it has a contrast between the outside of the car (silver) and the new dyed areas inside (ash grey). It has a very custom look, beyond anything I’ve seen. Wow! So cool!”

I got your product yesterday and used it right away. I have purchased many things online and always cross my fingers that the product may just do what is advertised. I must say, it is all you promised it to be. It went on easily and looks great!"

Love the product. Easy to use and looks great. My family couldn't believe the difference and how great it looked. Using the second hand sofa to stage a home for sale and will take it home when home sells and use it for my personal use. I will tell all my friends about this product.
