   Custom Color

   If you have a specific color in mind, then the Custom Color Service is definitely the way to go. It was worth every penny after applying and seeing the exact color that we wanted. The total project was included in one box and the YouTube videos made the job pretty straight forward. The refreshed like new surface that came out exceeded our expectations saving us well over $3,000 to replace the chair and couch that was structurally very sound.    Fantastic Product - Better Service and Support

   I have 2 Hancock & Moore leather sofas in my living room which I bought about 15 years apart. I had to have the 1st sofa "professionally" recolored which came out OK but a different color than its original color and different than the newer sofa. The older sofa was showing significant wear (2 large dogs) and I wanted to redo the color to match the newer sofa.    I have 2 Hancock & Moore leather sofas in my living room which I bought about 15 years apart. The older sofa was showing significant wear (2 large dogs) and I wanted to redo the color to match the newer sofa. I had Lesandre create a custom color to match the newer sofa and it came out really close to the newer target sofa and it looks like a brand new sofa! Lesandre was there the whole way giving me advice and coaching on techniques which I could not have done without her.
   
   The project was a bit of a challenge as at first I thought the leather was cracking. I sent Lesandre a photo of a damaged cushion and she felt that the leather was fine and that a layer of color was cracking. She had me try using denatured alcohol to test it and she was spot on. It was the color layer that was cracking. That was the good news. The bad news was that I had to use almost a full gallon of denatured alcohol to remove the old color. This was a pain, messy and time consuming but absolutely necessary. It took several man-days to prep the sofa versus a few hours to recolor it with Rub 'n Restore. I was trying to get a marbled look to match the newer sofa and I spent about 3 hours using different techniques and colors to get the look I wanted. In the end I gave up and was able to only get minor marbling. This is not a reflection of the product - but of the stripped down material that I was working with.
   
   All in all I love this product. This was my 2nd project as my 1st was on vinyl seat cushions on a pontoon. I highly recommend the product and anyone can use it successfully with a little patience and some time trial and error. As Lesandre says in one of her videos, don't be afraid to make a mistake. You can use denatured alcohol to remove Rub 'n Restore and start over.
   
   I can't say enough about the support I received from Lesandre. She was very responsive and quick to my emails. I felt like she was right there and was as much invested in the project as I was. Thanks so much, Lesandre.

   Holy Smokes!

   This was an easy amazing solution that saved my very expensive leather couch! The color match was so perfect. I didn’t have to do the whole couch. I will be ordering more to try to repair another couch now.

   I purchased a used, but well maintained Natuzzi leather couch and love seat. Both pieces had minor, if noticeable blemishes and I did try to match the color via trial and error, which didn't work to my satisfaction. However I decided to send in a small patch that I was able to get at at the bottom of the love seat and while it wasn't the size Rub n' Restore likes to have, they were able to make a PERFECT color match. The set literally looks brand new and I could not be happier. Money well spent and I would recommend this product and company to anyone/everyone. Wow...!

   Spectacular Results

   First and foremost, (unless your color is a primary, i.e. white, black, etc.) I highly recommend you take the time to customize your color. I wanted to restore the vinyl top on my 1988 Rolls Royce. This is not the kind of car you want to screw up a project like this! So I went and got several "paint swatches" from a local big box store and perfectly matched an unfaded section of roof. Sent that swatch in to Lesendra (who's always there to help answer any questions) for a custom color match product, and the rest is beautiful history. After two "rubs" the roof was like new. People commented the car looked like it just rolled off the showr...More

   Absolutely Fantastic Product

   Purchased Crack Filler and Custom Color for my leather car seats. When I cleaned the seats with denatured alcohol, turned out I didn't need the crack filler. I applied the colorant per the video and it worked PERFECTLY. Three coats with a half hour between coats for drying, The color is a 100% perfect match to my auto interior. I was even able to cover up some dark marks on kick panels.

   Custom Colors

   I asked to have two custom colors made to match two very poor samples of vinyl on the door panels of our 56 Ford Club sedan. They were great matches and are quite easy to use and cleanup is a snap. Great job folks….I just finished one and will trim out the other today. In looking at the photo, the colors created were the dark green and the light green in the center of the door panel….Well done…The lighting does not indicate the quality of the match of colors...

   Great Product!

   We have 2 leather recliners that were showing their age. We got a custom color from Rub & Restore thinking we'd just touch up the rough spots. But, the new finish looked so good, we did the whole chair! It looks new! Still have to do the second chair but am sure it come out just as well!

   The custom cordovan color that was sent to me matched the couch perfectly. The process was simple to complete with the directions that were sent in the packaging.
   My leather couch looks like it was just purchased following the treatment which took only about 30 minutes or so.

   Great product

   Very happy with the results. I was able to repair 2 holes in the leather. The color match was perfect!!! Thank you. The video instructions are great. I followed the directions sanded the split sections and the results are amazing. A few years ago I hired a professional leather repair and the results I achieved with rub n restore were much much better. Thank you very much for all your help!!

   Perfect match - Burgundy Couch

   We have a burgundy leather couch, which we love, and wanted to keep the same color. Our cushions needed restoring due to a dog lovingly scratching it for 15 years. We sent in a sample, and rub n restore made a perfect custom color match.

   Thank you so much for your great products and wonderful instructions.  I am attaching the before and after for our chair and ottoman.  The chair cushion was very rough after I refinished it so I followed your online video sanding advice and added some additional glaze (perhaps a little too much).  Nonetheless, we are thrilled with the results and will highly recommend your products.

   Got the custom color which matched perfectly. Followed directions for proper preparation of our bonded leather sectional and applied the color to the furniture as directed and waited 4 hours for it to dry. Then I mixed the sealer with color to get the degree of shine we desired and applied it as recommended. We did not use the furniture for six days to allow it to dry completely. Now after less than a week of sitting on it the finish is coming off and we are very disappointed. Great idea, but with our bonded leather furniture it did not have any durability. I wonder if full grain leather would have a better result. I sure wouldn't try ...More

   We generally discourage restoration of bonded leather for reasons enumerated here. Our stuff doesn't stick to bonded leather well, and we would have noticed this in working with your swatch and formulating your color. Are you certain yours is indeed bonded leather? Perhaps the issue is in cleaning prior to restoration?

   I was a bit skeptical if this would work, but I thought why not! After receiving my sample CC called me within the next 2 business days as advertised. We discussed the project and she got to work matching my vinyl color. My business is selling high end graphics to medical device companies so I know a lot about matching "brand" colors accurately. CC nailed the vinyl match. After numerous light coats the worn areas began to disappear. I was honestly amazed!
