It did nothing but create a mess that I had to remove. It was expensive and time consuming. I wouldn't have minded either of these, if it had only worked.
I don't know if the finish clear coat or the dye did it but it seems like the leather has even softened because the entire piece was done. It gave the furniture a beautiful shiny product. Your product is excellent & it saved me thousands of dollars to replace the furniture
There was light spots in a few places from my constant moving around on this loveseat & we had tried other dyes which either wore off or left darker spots where we covered the light spots. This is part of a three piece couch set which is no longer made & would have had to be replaced entirely. Now the entire set looks like the day it was delivered.

It made a great glaze and a shiny top coat.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't terrified about dying my leather love seat. I watched the videos, gloved up, and got to it. It really is as easy as the videos imply. I chose Ebony so my coverage was noticeable immediately - by the second go around, the color was lush and I was inspired. After applying the Clear Prep & Finish the luster was evident. The next day, I napped on it - even drooled a bit, and the dye held up! I'm sold on this product and have told everyone - Their initial reaction is always, "You did what?! This is the second time I've used Rub 'n Restore, and I like even MORE! It is SO easy to apply, and the results are gorgeous! It dries quickly (almost immediately, actually) and it's so rewarding to redo a leather couch this way. I can't recommend it more enthusiastically.

First time for us to attempt dying anything! We followed the easy instructions and are super pleased with the result. This looks like a new sofa!
I just finished applying your products to my aniline leather sectional and my vinyl theater seating as we discussed last week and I have to say that it worked great! Pics of my first before and after. My husband thought I was crazy when he loaded up the $80 leather sofa bed. He could not believe how wonderful it turned out! The longest part was mixing my own color using your stock options. I only dyed the bottom cushions and arm rest. I love restoring things, thanks again for your great product!”
We had our reservations. This was the only product like this that we found. It was incredible. The leather was in really rough shape and after sanding, glueing and using rub n restore it literally looks brand new. We will be be using this again. Very close colour match but we did the whole couch anyhow because it made it look so nice

Don't waste your money on the cheap leather dye repair kits. I tried them all. Although you will pay more, this is the real thing ! Saved my furniture. We no longer need a blanket to hide the cat scratches in the leather seating surface.
Had an area on my lounge that had the original dye worn down to the bare leather. This prep acted as a primer before applying the dye. Also used it to put a sheen on after the dye. Perfect !
This dye was a perfect match for my sofa. One cushion had an area that had been wiped with an abrasive. I was able to blend this back in within about 20 minutes total. Looks like new !

First time in a long time that a product has actually done what it is promised to do. A joy to use! Very forgiving and the outcome was amazing. Changed 2 olive green chairs to turquoise. Nice vivid color. The gloss sealant really worked well with the product. Just wish it wasn't so expensive. With the Canadian exchange rate and extra at-the-door charges for shipping, a large bottle was almost 130.00.
So glad I found your site! I ordered the clear prep and finish after a helpful conversation with you a couple weeks ago. I put a couple of coats on my leather couch and the sheen came back!!! My couch is ten years old but it's still in great shape. Your product made it look new again! So happy! Thanks again!!!
