   I finished re-staining the Natuzzi furniture. It only needed one coat of color! The mixture was two parts mahogany to one part rust to one part cherry wood. I applied it with a rag for one coat. And then applied two coats of the clear with sponge.  I would give it five stars! The whole project was fairly simple and was doable in a weekend which included prepping the surfaces with the alcohol, sanding rough spots, prepping with the clear on worn areas, applying the color and then the two clear coats.  I feel like I like I have new furniture!

   I primed with clear prep and finish, then complete base of Mahogany, then I did a glaze with clear prep and Cherrywood and tried to a a mottled look with the cherrywood as your video demonstrates, but it was too pronounced. So I quickly wiped it all down with a sponge with clear prep on it and I got the two tone with Mahogany base and Cherrywood highlights. I topped it with one coat of clear prep and finish. We think it turned out really well. We paid $4,000 for this sectional brand new and the surface broke down soon after we bought it and it became a mess.    The reconditioning went absolutely PERFECT!!!  I absolutely could not be happier, really!!!  The color is a PERFECT MATCH!!!  The couch looks absolutely brand new!!!  You absolutely cannot tell where the worn areas were that were re-dyed by Rub-n-Restore!!!  By-the-way, the couch is 8-years old. Actually, I did NOT use the Clear Prep + Finish!  In pre-experimenting, I noticed that I needed the full strength Dye to get to get the coverage, as you mentioned might happen in your published directions.  I had pre-cleaned with alcohol and 409.  As it turns-out, the Dye by itself dried with the same sheen as the existing couch sheen!!!  I actuall...More

   In trying to repair the worn areas before I found Rub-n-Restore, I went to half a dozen furniture stores in Bakersfield, asking if they carried a dye type repair product.  In every case, I was looked at like I had just landed here from another planet; I was astonished!!!  I did find one upholstery repair shop that said, if I brought it to him, he could "paint" it for $300!!!  I quickly left and came home started Googling!!  The reason I spent so much time looking here, is that I wanted someone to talk to face-to-face and maybe see some actual examples of re-dying before somewhat going with blind hope on Google!!!  I was most impressed by your website and so here we are, with you with a very happy customer!!!  You have an excellent website!!!

   Worked GREAT! I did just wipe off the cushions with a wet wipe and noticed the dye came off with it... Maybe 3 days dry time was not enough to cure? No matter. My couch looks far better :-)

   The products you sell are fantastic and your explanations on how to use them were fantastic. We started out with just plain mahogany then kept adding drops of black, I am guessing all said n done we use about a teaspoon of mahogany and probably 30-50 drops of black so maybe it was a one to one like you originally suggested.  We were really excited once we achieved the combination color and it matched.  Thanks again.

   We had some scratch damage on our fairly new leather sofa in our office lobby. It was very noticeable and I previously tried sanding or buffing the scratches with some brushes, sand paper, etc. NO LUCK. I send some photos of the damage to the ladies here at Rub'N Restore and ended up getting Mahogany paint and Clear Prep Finish. I used a sponge with both the color and clear on it and dabbed a top coat on the sofa. I repeated this 2 times and it looks sooooo much better now. It is not noticeable anymore, unless you know where to look. I will be trying more of this product at my home in the near future. THANKS MUCH CC and Lesandre.

   This product is AMAZING! I was skeptical, but I watched the tutorials, followed the instructions and WOW! My finished leather couches look brand new! I have 3 boys, 2 dogs, and 4 cats, and the couches are fair game. I repaired the cat scratches with the super glue trick, and used the filler for a hole my dog chewed when he was a puppy. I am in LOVE with this stuff! Even my husband was impressed! Check out the before and after pics! They are 100% real!
