Repair cracks, tears, and holes in leather or vinyl with this flexible, water-based filler putty. Repairing peeling or flaking bonded or faux leather is discouraged.
Soft Filler is a water-based repair putty. Use a sunny window, heat lamp or incandescent bulb to cure until clear and no longer tacky. Do not use hair dryers or heat guns. Keep refrigerated when not in use.
Color will be needed to conceal the repairs. Do not used alcohol-based dyes or finishes over Soft Filler.

Matching the color was a challenge but you did it perfectly. More importantly, although some of the dye leaked in shipping, you responded with compensation for my loss. Rub & restore great results for a 1st timer!
Just finished saving a leather armchair with arms well-worn & ripped in several places! With clear YouTube videos & a couple of speedily answered email questions, I was good to go. Filler, cleaner, color & clear coat all worked as described & I'm quite happy with the results. One spot might need a re-do in the future, but for first time it was a positive experience.

Was Amazing!
I wish I had taken before and after pictures. I had gotten a quote to fix two sofas and one chair that had pretty bad pet damage. I was quoted $1000 minimum. Well that wasn’t going to happen. My husband is actually the one who researched and found this company. He ordered swatches. The ivory matched perfect. I watched a couple of YouTube videos and followed the direction exactly. It was so easy and so quick and you can’t even tell where any of the cat scratches and pick marks were. I feel like we have brand new furniture! Arrived quickly too. Highly recommend!

This is a great product. I'm still working out the edges of the application to blend it with the leather but it can only be seen if looking for it. Once I dyed the surface the sun-dried web of surface cracks disappeared completely. The fine sandpaper technic works great.

I am the 2nd owner of a 2003 Chrysler Sebring convertible. Except for the vinyl top it is in immaculate shape. I had tried at least a dozen products before I found Rub n Restore. I could not be happier with the results, please see the attached pictures.
I believe I am better at applying your product, than I am at taking pictures. To my eye the pictures do not show just how well your product worked.
Before starting with Rub N restore the top had turned a medium grey, with some area even lighter in color. Originally this top was black. After using Rub N Restore, two of my neighbors asked "wh...More

Remarkable!
I am happy to report that my weekend project of bringing a favorite piece of furniture back to life is visually a success. The chair looks new. I was patient and did the cleaning as advised, and did 3 thin coats, finishing with the color and coating as a final finish mix. The chair is still curing, but we think it looks beautiful and for the low cost and ease of this product, it certainly seems worth it.

have courage - rewarding DIY project!
I’m done with the reclining chair and more than satisfied with the result. Repairs were challenging because the original leather was highly damaged.
I’m not done with the sofa yet but it will be much easier as there are no major damages to the leather. I used a blend of 1:1.5 of clear and color and it gave a nice satin finish as per our original leather surface finish. The repairs are not perfect but that was not the goal nor my expectation given the damage. It is very satisfactory as other options would have meant an expansive repair (complete replacement of the damage leather sections by a professional upholsterer) or replacement by ...More
