This product is the BEST! It really did an excellent job and for a very reasonable price. The quality of when it was done was fabulous.

    Okay
Not bad. I found all the preparation work a bit drying to the leather. My current leather recliners had a lot of highs and lows with a mixture of colors. I probably should have purchased more than one color to maintain the modeling effect I had before I did the treatment. This product came out more of a solid color (could be user error, but I watched all of the videos and read the instructions) which honestly I am not a huge fan of. That said, the seat part of my chair really needed some attention and it looks amazing (if you didn't see the original condition). I have tried more thicker products from a big online retailer. Last week, I did one chair in each product and am interested in seeing which one lasts longer. The other brand lasted a few months before needing touching up...it is too early to really assess the longevity, but I have my fingers crossed.

Alcohol can be drying but is necessary to strip off all the slime of life (conditioners, body oil, last night's Chinese takeout). Our colors are very pigment-rich, which is why you can color change with them. Check out this article and video demonstrating mottling / distressing techniques. We also offer an evaluation service to ensure the best results for customers. This $10 cost is redeemable with a purchase of product. Curious to know if the other product is a urethane or acrylic. The urethane may initially be more durable but may prove to be a bigger mess down the road.

    Pre-Skeptic, Post Believer
I have to admit, I was skeptical I would find any product to save our tufted leather ottoman. With nothing to lose, and after a bit of research, I thankfully stumbled across Rub N Restore.
In total I spent about 3 hours restoring our worn out friend, and when I asked my wife to see the results, she didn’t believe it was the same piece of furniture!
Absolutely amazing product and I am now a true believer.

BTW I completely changed the color of my full size high end leather chair. Went from a mahogany to your espresso. I read all your hints and watched many videos of the young lady who shows techniques. Absolutely fantastic. Looks like a new chair. Hope it holds up. Very happy customer.

Wow cant BELIEVE how this worked lol. It was easy and came out awesome. You were right mixing the clear to form a glaze with some original peaking through worked perfect! I didn't even use a whole 16 oz. bottle of color for both pieces.

Just wanted to write to let you know how amazed I am with this product! I’ve never bothered to write a company I bought anything from before but I am just pleased on how my chairs turned out I thought you should know. The service was great too! You got back to me quickly regarding the color and product selection. Here are pictures of my before and afters. This saved me from investing thousands into new recliners.

    Pleasantly surprised
Used on a top grain leather sofa of the non-absorbent variety. Easy to mix colors and blend clear finish for desired tone and sheen. I was matching a dull-satin-not-quite-matte-ish. Easier than I thought it would be. Could be because the instructions provided were great. All the info you need.
If you're thinking "well I'm not good at this type of stuff".... Doesn't matter. Its pretty forgiving Just buy it. I'm reasonably certain you wouldn't regret it.

    Amazing
Ordered this product several months ago, and put off using it because I thought it was going to be an ordeal. When I finally tried it, it was so easy, quick and great! My couch and loveseat almost look new. I would recommend to anyone.

Let me start by saying I never leave reviews... I found this product by doing a search on Google. Our leather set was 14 years old and as you can see by the pictures it looked every bit its age! Still, I was extremely skeptical and terrified I would ruin our furniture. However, After reading the reviews and seeing the pictures I decided to give it a shot. What I found after using this product still amazes me! I bought the 16 ounce bottle in Espresso and the clean and prep. I have about 1/4 of the bottle left! So glad I took a leap of faith!!! Exceeded expections
I purchased this chair from Crate and Barrel almost 15 years ago. It was originally a caramel brown but got very faded and worn over the years. I tried a leather conditioner but it didn't make much of a difference. So glad I found rub n restore. I love the rich chocolate brown color - I used espresso - 2 coats, with a bit of the clear coat. It took me about 2 hours. Huge transformation.

    Great Product!
Bought this product with a bit of skepticism that it could restore our leather couch which had seen a lot of use of the years. I stand corrected. The application was easy and the results are fabulous. Our couch looks new again.

I was skeptical upon reading reviews and when I purchased this product as it sounded way too good to be true. Our couch is 20 years old and besides the blue color that we hate, is in fantastic shape. They just don’t make couches like this anymore. The leather is such high quality and after seeing our friends fork over upwards of 10k for a new leather couch only for it to wear and break down within a few years, we knew we had to give this a shot. I would recommend to anyone in our position. If you love your couch but are tired of the color, this is the product to buy.

Everything turned out perfect on that old 1948 motorcycle leather seat project.. I managed to save it and bring it back to life while still keeping the original character. ended up doing a blend of the espresso and black to give it an aged appearance.   Thank you again for all your help.
