Bought a new spa cover 3 years ago for $450.00 from my Spa outlet store and within a year it started to fade.  After 3 years the top was dry and very faded and the stitching was coming apart.  Came across your product on line last month and decided to give it a try. I cleaned and restitched  the cover and applied 3 light coats of dye and three coats of top coat.  The top looks new again for $50.00 worth of product and I still have enough to do another two coats in the future. I live in a Northern climate and would suggest doing this in the garage or basement for extended curing time.  Thank you for a great affordable product and I will update you on its durability after the winter has passed.

Just got my product and went straight to work. I watched the videos and was bet confident about product. Well I was not disappointed it is amazing. Thank you this product saved me several thousand dollars to replace my oversized sectional.

These couches had ink, wine, and dog urine stains that we thought had rendered the furniture unsavable. They were faded, cracked, dry and ugly. Frankly, my wife and I were embarrassed to have guests see them.



After six coats of cognac, and one coat of clear coat, they look like new! We have dye and clear coat left over for future patchwork because of the dogs and sun damage from the window.



I will recommend Rub N Restore to anyone who desires to resurrect their leather furniture.

I purchased a small white leather couch for my office from Craigslist, it was FILTHY to say the least (listed for $50, but when the gentleman selling it saw how hard I would have to work to get it clean, the price went down to $25!) but I bought it anyway because it had good bones and I knew I could do something with it.

 

I won't repeat the snickering comments from my co-workers when I brought the couch into my workplace, but let's just say that it looked even WORSE in our flourescent lighting, and my office is a place of no-holds-barred teasing when warranted...and they let loose on me (and my poor little couch) with a vengence!

 

I had some idea that I could stain it if it wouldn't come clean (which, of course it wouldn't, even after serious scrubbing) but wasn't sure what to use. A search on the internet brought me to your youtube video, and thence to your website where with hope in my heart I purchased the Espresso color and the Clear Prep - Finish.

 

Application was a breeze, goof-proof to say the least! We have two dogs in our office and even without the topcoat they barely made a scratch in the color after 6 coats (and when they did I just touched it up). It is a beautiful couch now and I can't tell you how pleased I am that it has been "Rubbed and Restored".

 

A picture is worth a thousand words, you can see the results with & without the top coat. It is FABULOUS! Everyone in my office is eating their words and asking about your product. They are all just AMAZED at the transformation and I will be singing your praises for all time!

I purchased the Walnut color for a black leather loveseat that we had. The instructions were easy to follow and the product truly works like magic! It took 3 coats to turn my black loveseat into the pretty walnut color. I love it! It looks like a completely different piece of furniture and I couldn't believe how easy it was to apply! Would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to improve the look of their furniture.

I just restored my vinyl top on my 90 Coupe Devile. This product will seal the surface so you will use less product to cover the project. The vinyl was in sad shape it tore through 2 sponges to apply the primer because the surface was so rough. Use a real sponge and wet it as directed and blot the primer on so you can spread it evenly. I used this as a primer coat and a finish coat to seal it. An 8 oz. bottle along with an 8 oz. bottle of color will do the job. The people are great and very helpful.

I watched the instructional video before purchasing. It was really as easy as the demonstration. I bought the small bottle and started with an ottoman before the large chair and sofa. Can't wait to get started on the next pieces. The color was very close to the original color of the furniture. I did this to show my husband that I can change the color of my living room furniture that is an off white color. I want to make it darker.

Six years ago, I purchased a vinyl beige sofa and a lounge chair. I don’t know what happened, but the surfaces of the vinyl began turning green a couple of years ago, even though I had only used mild cleansers to clean the furniture. Visitors to my residence began remarking on the unusual/awful color of my sofa and chair. I tried many methods and couldn’t recapture the original color of this furniture. But the actual physical quality of the furniture was great.



The color had deteriorated so badly that I needed to either replace the furniture, at a cost of about $800 or find another solution. So, I searched the internet for a solution and stumbled upon Rub n Restore’s site. I viewed a ‘youtube’ video of your dye being applied to a sofa and thought that, if this is true, it could save me a lot of money.



While being credulous, I ordered your beige dye and applied two coats to both my sofa and chair. Later, I applied one coat of your clear prep. The total time that it took me to restore my furniture, with your products was about 4 hours and the process was easy. I must say that your product was all that you advertised that it would be. My sofa and chair now look like new, when purchased. I must say that all your advertisements/promises for your dye and clear prep products were true. I am very happy and thank you.

I ordered this product at 3pm mid-week and I was so surprised that it was on my desk the next day. Given I live in the same state....still that was incredible! The Dye worked as it was advertised and per the videos. Thank you very much.

This project was SO EASY. It took about 20 minutes to stain both chairs and another 15 minutes to apply the clear sealing coat. Vinyl furniture will never intimidate me ever again. I don't know how many times I've passed up a cute piece of furniture because it was the wrong color. Well, not anymore. This stuff, it's magic. And not only is it for furniture, but it can be used on purses, shoes, wallets, etc. The project list is endless.

OMG!!! I got your product yesterday and refinished my chair today, and boy was I blown away! This was a chair that my husband purchased for our first home over 20 years ago. We've tried everything to clean it, and nothing worked. We were on the verge of giving it away to Goodwill when I happened upon your YouTube video and ordered your product. All I can say is WOW! “I used the cognac as a base with a small amount of walnut to darken it and then tinted that with a little organic yellow from ADV Leather. I then glazed the couch with that color first. I then used a slightly darker version (more walnut) to put a second print coat on top. I used a mixture of the clear and the dull topcoat from ADV Leather to create the matte glaze. To deal with the streakiness of the Adv product, I would apply the colorant with the sponge and then go over that tapping with a damp wax application sponge (the ones covered in terry cloth) to smooth the application. Buffing with a polishing cloth also helped. I then top coated the couches with a mixture of 60/40 clear/dull and once dried for a day buffed this to get the somewhat satin appearance. I am stoked! Having used the ADV color line to tint, I am very glad to have used your line to do the meat of the work. Looks really good to me. We will see how it holds up, but I think it should be good to go for awhile! Oh, I also added feet that I stained later on. No other improvements were made.”
