Better Than Buying A $2K Couch
We waited until the weather was warm and dry enough to apply the product on our 18+ year leather 'much loved' couch. It is amazing! Very pleased and have plenty left over for future applications. Thanks so much for making our old friend look new again.

Such an amazing product! No transfer of the color and it doesnā€™t take much color (or effort) to make a huge difference. Best product I could have found to restore my 2 couches! Followed it with the clear glaze and they are gorgeous!!

I have a Lazyboy sofa with recliners on both ends. It is ten years old and works great. But it started to look worn a handful of years ago so I went and got a case of custom-made spray finish from my local automotive paint shop to get it looking good. That worked but smelled when doing it and it kept wearing off so I would do it again. Fast forward like three years and this case was almost gone. But before I went down to get another I looked on like and found rubnrestore.com (actually I found some Canadian place first but it was way more expensive). So I order this stuff and applied it. First I freaked out because it didn't look like it was going to match when it was wet but dried really quickly to a perfect color match. I also had a small dog toenail punch hole I filled with their filler product ; did the clear cleaner/sealer, and then the color. And I did the color like three times to get it perfect. Then I did the sealer again. Wow! this not only worked but it also wears really well. Man, I wish I would have done this before trying that other goofy auto paint store match approach (BTW: I took that off with acetone before starting the work with rubnrestore).

This stuff is incredible! Compared to the other types of leather restoration available, this has the least amount of prep work with the best results. I had a full size couch that needed a lot of work on the cushions from years of wear and a loveseat that needed to completely change color to match my bigger couch.
The color matching was perfect and was very simple to apply. I bought the 16oz bottle to do these and have so much left over that I could change the color of a whole other couch if I wanted to. The couch looks brand new!

luv tge results
A company was going to dye the 2 end sections of my sofa plus the armrest for $500. I thought it would look ridiculous if I didnā€™t dye the entire sofa ā€¦ I might as well invest the money in a new sofa. That was until I discovered Rub and Restore. Almost perfect... but not because of the product. I RUSHED through the job in under 30 minutes. Of course there were some flaws but not noticeable to anyone who didn't know of the dye project. I recommend. A friend already ordered samples and will dye her sofas too.

Sooo Happy

I was ready to give away our once beautiful sofa after years of family use. It was badly faded and stained. The sofa also had scratch marks from our dog. We recently remodeled our living room and it looked so out of place. I had refinished another chair with success but felt this sofa project was simply too far gone. Iā€™m soooo happy I gave the product a chance!

Rub n Restore is creamy, pigment rich, easy to apply, and comes in all these beautiful colors. I was really blown away by the application being so easy and the pigment being so creamy and full coverage, as well as drying fairly quickly so you can add more coats in a day if needed. Our project did end up taking several weekends over 2 months letting it cure in between when we were busy. I ended up buying 2 additional small bottles and reaching out for help from the company due to this ash color streaking once it dried down even after at least 4 coats because our climate is very dry and we added some of the matte clear coat to the last coat of ...More

Our project did end up taking several weekends over 2 months letting it cure in between when we were busy. I ended up buying 2 additional small bottles and reaching out for help from the company due to this ash color streaking once it dried down even after at least 4 coats because our climate is very dry and we added some of the matte clear coat to the last coat of paint which was not a good idea. I had to apply at least 4 more coats after that even though we had full coverage and color saturation, but needed more paint to get rid of the tonal streaks. I had also tried adding water to a couple of the coats and lightly spraying water to keep the paint wet while working with it, per recommended steps, which was a bad idea and also created streaks at dry down because my ottoman is very smooth leather and had no texture to the finish. Needed it to be smooth and perfect, which I finally got by adding a few more coats of paint and not using any clear coat at all. Foam sponge also does not work well, had the best results with a sponge wrapped in terry cloth for stain application that we got at Home Depot. Whew! We love it though, we gave new life to a free ottoman but did end up spending less than $100 in paint to do so.

Used the Marine White on my Boat cushions and they look brand new. Went on easy after previously cleaning the seats to remove all dirt and oil. Highly recommend.

Great Product!
I ordered the leather soft filler, and it worked just as advertised! Works great for any leather repair job big or small. Bonds well and dries fast. I would recommend to anyone with a small to large leather repair job!

I purchased a used, but well maintained Natuzzi leather couch and love seat. Both pieces had minor, if noticeable blemishes and I did try to match the color via trial and error, which didn't work to my satisfaction. However I decided to send in a small patch that I was able to get at at the bottom of the love seat and while it wasn't the size Rub n' Restore likes to have, they were able to make a PERFECT color match. The set literally looks brand new and I could not be happier. Money well spent and I would recommend this product and company to anyone/everyone. Wow...!

Works GREAT
Refreshed a 20-year-old 7-piece sectional that needed some minor repairs, as well as a better match on a seat cushion and armrest that had been recently replaced by an upholsterer (reds are so hard to match). The project went more quickly and was less messy than I expected. I can't even see where I repaired it. I am so happy with the results! Thanks for offering a product that works so well.

I didnt like it
I watched lots of videos , followed all the directions.. but it turned out so awful. Called support and kind of got snubbed off, told to go the sherwin williams and buy the organic colorant to put in the topcoat...

I didnt get great service.. but I did get an email saying they refunded 50 percent of cost.

I really dont know what to say about the product, it wasnt given a chance

Ordering handmade swatches would have avoided your dissatisfaction with the Honey color. We would have mailed them to you for free had you contacted us. We also offer a matching service. We cannot be liable for your choice of color.

Despite being outside the realm of our money-back guarantee, we refunded the cost of the product (but not the international shipping) as a courtesy. We're sorry this remains dissatisfactory to you. We suggest you call a local pro and pay a couple thousand dollars to get the result you desire.

Changed sofa, two chairs and ottoman from light yellow to ash gray. The end result was very good but required 8 to 9 coats. Would use again but would not look forward to the process.
