The cream was very soft and it did not cure well even after 24h. The result is ok but I was expecting it to be much better.
Reply from lesandre:
The filler will take a long time to cure without an additional heat source. We recommend an incandescent bulb or sunshine (see step 5 in the written instructions that come with the filler). Uncured adhesive used in a subpatch or residue on the material prior to application of filler can also prevent proper curing. More info here.

Thank you so very much for all your help I did both couches today and as you said it was very easy.
They  look amazing and as you suggested the Ivory was a perfect match. You just saved me thousands of dollars by not needing to buy  new couches. Needless to say I am very happy with your products.

I've attached a few pictures for you with before and after. Even though I have two spoiled dogs I no longer have to be embarrassed with scratched up couches. Thank you

It covered way more and easier than I anticipated. Covered purple leather to black easily, with three coats.

Went from a lighter to darker leather chair in less than 2 hours. Ended up going over my leather couch cushions, loveseat and did both reclining chairs. Love it. Best thing ever!!

Reply from lesandre:
This is usually due to residue on the leather or vinyl. More about this here.

We purchased a custom 10' leather sofa 30 years ago from a friend that owned a high end furniture factory in Hickory, NC. After recently changing the interior paint colors of our home, my wife expressed an interest in purchasing a new sofa. Upon spending a day of visiting furniture stores, we saw several in the color we liked but not in the length needed. On the way home, I made the comment that leather could be stained like a pair of shoes. She was very sceptical but after checking out the process on the Rub'n Restore website, I assured her that I could create a new sofa within a few days. I placed my order of two 16 oz. bottles of Stone dye which arrived very promptly. I'm not going to lie. Patience is required for a good job! It took several hours to prep and clean the couch using Acetone, of which a good pair of industrial rubber gloves was required. As our sofa had cushions that were pleated and end sections that reclined, I was only able to apply two coats of dye each day. I could have stopped at four coats, as we were going from a light color to a darker color but decided to give it one more as the color kept getting richer and deeper as I went. When my wife returned home from work on the third day, she was greeted by our new leather sofa at a cost of less than $160. It truly looks like new. Thanks for a great product!

I reached out last week for a consultation on my big yellow second hand leather chair and ottoman! I went with the espresso color you all suggested and it turned out great following the provided instructions. Just wanted to say thanks again for all of your help!

FANTASTIC! I was nervous about this project but these ladies were extremely helpful right from ordering the product and how to avoid import charges to actually doing the project. Their videos and written instructions are complete and very valuable. I recommend this company and their products. All that I have to see now is how it wears.
Thanks for your help and this great product. All I had to provide was the labour?

I have a dinette set with four vinyl chairs that swivel and that are on casters ... very 1980-ish !! I was going to leave them behind when I moved since the chairs have faded in spots from being in the east window for so long. I have a dinette set with four vinyl chairs that swivel and that are on casters ... very 1980-ish !! I was going to leave them behind when I moved since the chairs have faded in spots from being in the east window for so long. But since my grandkids seem to love these chairs, and I couldn't find anything like them in furniture stores, I decided to restore them !!

I wrote CC/Lesandre telling them what I wanted to do; they wrote back and even talked to me over the phone, and eventually sold me the small amount I needed to get the job done; 2 oz. Rust dye, 2 oz. Cognac dye, and 4 oz. of Clear coat. This saved me lots of $ rather then if I had had to ask for a custom color, or bought 8 oz, bottles of each !! In fact to do the four chairs, I only used about 1/2 oz. total, so I got lots left.

The tricky thing is the chairs had these random dark lines like an alligators skin (Lesandre called it a marbled-look), which I still wanted to show through, so I had to make a somewhat transparent glaze, by mixing the three products in the proper proportion. CC gave me advice on how to do this. So this review is more for their personal service than the Rust colored dye itself !! :-0
