Walnut Vinyl & Leather Finish
Walnut is a medium neutral brown. It is lighter than Chocolate and less golden than Tobacco.

Use our water-based finishes to restore and condition:
- absorbent aniline and semi-aniline leather,
- non-absorbent full-grain or top-grain leather,
- and vinyl upholstery.
Our finishes won’t sunfade or backstain like leather dyes. They don't feel plasticky, flake or peel like spray paints.
Do not use on fabric, suede, nubuck, bonded or faux leather.
Store in a temperate, dark place away from children.

Changing color is best suited to absorbent leather.
If the material repels water and will be heavily used, consider adding 1 part special order Satin Sealer to 4 parts color to improve durability. Thorough cleaning and stress testing the color are critical!
The following are not good candidates and will require touch-up:
- changing from red / dark to white / pale;
- worn, cracking, scaly or thinning leather;
- furniture with lots of wrinkles, folds, deep creases (and therefore stress);
- pieces that are heavily used or harshly cleaned (kids, dogs, chemicals);
- car or boat upholstery (for these we suggest a heavier urethane coating);
- bonded, faux or polyurethane (PU) ‘leather’ which repel all finishes (including their own).
Here's what wear looks like on non-absorbent leather or vinyl:

By the way, the bid we received for a professional to restain the loveseat was $500.00. We used perhaps $50.00 in Flite cleaner and Walnut Rub n Restore to complete our project. A ten fold savings.
I didn't know boiling RnR with sand would yield a perfect blue diamond, but I guess you live and learn.
Well, that's about it for now.
P.S. Don't try this at home kids
We even attempted to use the Preval Sprayer (Which failed miserably, do not buy these things they don't work. Ended up getting more dye on my hands then coming out of the nozzle.)
Overall we are very satisfied with the outcome although we still have a few small spots that apparently did not get enough dye.
It had to be yet another too-good-to-be-true product, but I was intrigued. It wasn't expensive, and seemed not to require any equipment, so I took a chance and ordered some. I figured it wouldn't really work, or would quickly peel or something like that, but I was going to throw the couch away anyway, so what the heck.
I was - and am - amazed. Our couch literally looks brand new. What had been a sad, parched, sun-bleached couch is now completely restored - beautiful, supple, sumptuous. And the great thing is it worked exactly as advertised (how often does that happen?). It takes technique, which you learn quickly, but not the kind of skill (such as with spray guns and dyes) that takes much longer to acquire - and yet it still looks like it's been professionally restored.
If you're even thinking of restoring a piece of furniture, I would wholeheartedly encourage you to get Rub 'N Restore. You won't be disappointed.
