Can't say enough how impressed I am
Absolutely love this product. Extremely easy to use, works amazingly well.

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CLOSELY. I got the personal consult with my pieces before starting and very carefully read through all instructions. I see that several of the bad reviews essentially had poor outcomes that could've been avoided by just following directions. Don't try shortcuts.

Absolutely love my new black couches. I wish I had something else to dye just for the pleasure of using this product again. Thank you SO much!

The product will come off with water because it is water based, just be aware of that. if you buy this one, you most likely will need a clear coat to prevent it from coming off as much. The customer service of this company is impressive, I was outraged because the paint ruined a shirt of mine when the paint came off from the couch, I was not expecting this after leaving the couch drying for about a week.
after communicating with customer service about the incident, they assisted me without hesitation and help me deal with the issue.

Color will transfer to a wet rag if the color has not yet cured. See here about cure time. Poor adhesion to the material could indicate a couple things: 1) faux or bonded leather, which resist all finishes, including their own, or 2) oil-based or silicone-based conditioning residue or a waxed finish that require more aggressive deglazing. We responded to your email with some questions to help us troubleshoot and get a better result. See here about our guarantee.

    Beyond my highest expectations
One of my most satisfying home improvement projects. My wife thought I could now repair the couch, but she was extremely impressed. The color and texture are a perfect match.

Great product, great people. I've been using RnR on different pieces of furniture for many years now, always works great. Their advice and know-how is much appreciated!

    absolutely overjoyed
My husband bought me a very expensive soft leather coat 25 years ago one of my children decided it needed a spongebob sticker on it . When I peeled the sticker off it took some of the finish with it leaving a bluish area. Because it was a gift I kept it all this time hanging in my closet. The discoloration bothered me so much I never wore it. I tried many things to fix it but alas finally its perfectly fixed. Thank you for making such a wonderful product.

    Amazing Product
I was refurbishing a garbage pick for personal use. Saw this product after many quotes to dye and re-upholster. I went from dark to darker which I recommend. I also recommend the sealer which I did not purchase initially but did after the fact. Overall success.

    Fantastic!!
Don’t listen to Lance- this stuff is incredible. It will save you sooo much money on reupholstering and give you a fun DIY weekend project. I used the clear prep to soften this rough leather that had been kept outside then dyed the leather to black. It is truly amazing and feels softer than it probably did when it was first made! I have had no peeling, fading or transferring so far either and this is coming from a probably cheaper leather material..so yeah, don’t hesitate!

    Complete Transformation!
I was able to revive a set of vintage vinyl chairs by using the black dye on the top portion of the chairs. I will say, it was important to use alcohol and the Flite cleaner to get these filthy chairs prepped. I had previously cleaned them with mild soap, but Flite really picked up so much more! I also used the filler and denim patches that I purchased from Amazon to fill in the bigger tears. I didn't do a professional job here, but it still made a big difference. When it was time to color, we took the chairs apart, since I didn't want to get black on the original Mustard colored seats. Then I used a foam brush to apply (although that...More

I also used the filler and denim patches that I purchased from Amazon to fill in the bigger tears. I didn't do a professional job here, but it still made a big difference.

When it was time to color, we took the chairs apart, since I didn't want to get black on the original Mustard colored seats. Then I used a foam brush to apply (although that is not recommended). It took about 3 coats to cover the mustard with black.

I used the clear prep + primer alone over the black and it was really sticky after drying. Lesandre advised to mix the color and the clear to remedy. That did the trick.

So in conclusion, the chairs are not perfect (largely due to my inexperience), but what a transformation! Great products for restoring and changing the color of vinyl furniture!

    Terrible
I would rate it 0 stars if I could. Bought 2 of their biggest bottles to do 2 pieces of furniture. It looks great if you never use the furniture. Once you start sitting on your furniture, it rubs off. $150 down the toilet. Customer service offered me 15% off my next purchase, how generous of them...Why would I buy more of this crap? It literally says on the bottle that it will never peel or rub off! False advertisement at it's finest. This product is a rabid dog, take it out back and kill it.

    Absolutely love it!
originally a 15+ year old light blue chair but this black covered the original color and still left the leather so soft. It took me 2 bottles and about 5-6 coats. I applied it with a sponge. One thing that really helped with the smaller areas and creases was a paint brush (cheap Walmart craft paint brush). Great coverage and cleans easily. I had to let it sit for a few days to cure because of the humidity but after that it left no residue on my hands. 10/10 would buy again for future projects.

    Satisfied..but...
Before I purchased, I contacted the company to ask if toxic. I was told it’s safe. Well, reading the bottle, I felt I needed to wear a hazmat suit. I would have returned it, however, there’s a restocking fee. I went ahead and dyed a tan leather Lazy-Boy recliner to black. I am very satisfied with the outcome. I did have to apply two coats & did 3 touch ups, in a few areas. Overall, yes I’m satisfied. Although I’m not going to eat it (ha) I do wish it was non-toxic.
    Reply from lesandre:
Thanks, Robin. The hazard info on the label mandated by law assumes the worst (i.e. spray / airborne application and chronic use). This article has Safety Data sheets and breaks down the ingredients, many of which are already lurking in your home. The latex paint used to paint your house and the Tide used to wash your home aren't non-toxic either.
