Very brown
came out brown and was mosit
Reply from Lesandre Barley:
The filler goes on white and dries more clear, effectively acting like a clear coat which can make the underlying surface look darker. Color is always needed to conceal a repair. If you believe you received a defective, please email us photos and more info at info@rubnrestore.com.

Repair faded recliner and couch arms.
This stuff lived up to its advertisement! Perfectly matched and like new. Same color and sheen! I’m amazed. I won’t have to purchase new furniture now.

Project results and insights
Treated 3 couches, two pillows, and 4 chairs/recliners. Offer the following advice. Lighter colors are harder to blend than darker. The goal to smooth and blend the old and new colors while minimizing the damaged areas. Used car polish cloths which will last one application. Found using quick glue helped seal leather wounds , but when it dries it turns very dark and lighter stain will not cover. You can use the glue but on very small areas. On lighter leather possible ignore glue option. Overall it looks good, blending and reinforcing colors. It does not take much product, so go with the smaller bottles. Our leather just absorbed these very quickly. Be patient and ready to move around the piece to get the job done. Constantly evaluate your progress to catch missed areas or corrections. You can do this project and save a lot of money..... Happy with the products, but check out slowly as the shipping options default to the higher charges. Suggest buying color samples first.

Marine White Perfection
I was skeptical so I ordered a small bottle. After only one coat I find the results amazing. As advertised works perfectly and easy to apply. Plan to order more and do entire boat. Thank you for producing an amazing product.

We are very much satisfied with the color match. It turned out great. We learned as we gave 3 coats to each boat cushion.
Sorry no pictures. I would recommend your company always. Simple business transactions and whatever they promised, they fulfilled.

Excellent Product
This product along with the satin sealer worked fantastic on restoring the original vinyl carriage top on my 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Cartier. It went from faded purple to a rich burgundy. Very easy to apply and work with, make sure you take the time to prepare your work area and you won’t be disappointed.

highly recommended
I changed a leather chair from brown to green. It looked great, but the color quickly started to come off where my dog likes to sit. Come to find out changing color and dogs isn't recommended, but Lassandra was really helpful and sent me this cross linker to mix into the green. The color is holding up much better. And it's easy to touch-up. Great products and customer service!

Chocolate Rub and Restore
This product is amazing. I changed my ottoman from an ugly grey to a beautiful dark brown. It now matches my sofa perfectly. I ordered two color swatches, and chocolate was an exact match to the sofa. I did six coats. It dried quick, and the next day the project was finished.
The finished product

Looks like New
I bought my husband a beautiful dark brown leather chair from Pottery Barn almost 10 years ago. Between two cats, a husband eating in the chair and sitting no where else, the poor chair looked like it was ready for the dump. In desperation I searched the web for a miracle. It quickly became obvious Rub and Restore was the answer. I bought 16 oz bottle of Espresso water-based conditioning color, a 2 oz bottle of black (in case the espresso wasn’t dark enough) and 4 oz of Clear Prep +Finish for Leather ((the original leather had a slight shine to it.) I read the great instructions from the Rub n Restore site and those that came up with a web s...More

It took three full days to clean, repair scratches, mix, test, mix and test again and apply the color three times. The results were fantastic. It looked brand new. We could hardly believe it was the same chair. I heartily recommend these products.

Couch is 25 years old and it took some work but it looks a whole lot better. One caution is the super glue should be used sparingly because it dries dark. Would be better if there was a product that glued but was could be stained any color. My want wanted to trash this couch but now it should last longer.

Clay Vinyl and Leather Finish
Worked great! I am so satisfied. My loveseat was in good condition with the exception of one worn place where my husband sits. The worn place was very obvious. I painted it with Rub and Restore and now it looks new again. Wonderful product. It makes me want to go into the vinyl/leather restoring business. Lol

Better than I had hoped
My pups tore up my leather furniture. Granted. its older and I thought I'd just live with it until my also older pups went to heaven. turns out, I don't have to wait. the furniture is still old but looks SO MUCH BETTER! I wish I had taken before pictures, but suffice it to say the scarring is pretty much invisible now, and even though I do want new, I can live with this a bit longer. do thank you! its pretty easy yo for. just go slow, little bit at a time until you get what you want. watch the videos. very helpful.
