I bought a set of used Lane leather furniture (we have an English Mastiff -- need I say more?). It's in good condition but the leather was starting to look a little tired and scratched. I spent hours scouring the internet and came across the RNR videos. I decided to give it a try and just... wow. I've only refinished the ottoman so far but it literally looks new. I'm eager to get started on the couch and chair now. This product is super easy to use, is true to color and doesn't seem to require an MFA to produce a nice, consistent finish.

By far one the best products I've ever bought. Easy to follow direction and applying is simple. Took me about an hour.

Rust is a near perfect match for the original Jeep CJ nutmeg color. I used it for a pair of soft door uppers to match the rest of my interior and my soft top. It's taken me a long time to find the right product, couldn't be happier!

Bought a new spa cover 3 years ago for $450.00 from my spa outlet store and within a year it started to fade. After 3 years the top was dry and very faded and the stitching was coming apart. Came across your product on line last month and decided to give it a try. I cleaned and restitched the cover and applied 3 light coats of dye and three coats of top coat. The top looks new again for $50.00 worth of product and I still have enough to do another two coats in the future. I live in a Northern climate and would suggest doing this in the garage or basement for extended curing time. Thank you for a great affordable product and I will update you ...More

I am just so thrilled that I found your product! I took a $45 chair that I found in a garage sale and turned it into a beautiful piece of furniture that now sits proudly in my home! Rub N Restore product was everything you claimed it would be: easy to use/apply, the color sample was perfect to restore back to its original state.

I found your product when I was searching around for a paint to use on my hideously dirty and questionably hued patio furniture. I've worked with a lot of paints and stains and Rub and Restore was really easy to work with. I had two chairs and a settee cleaned and done in half a day, and applying the sealer only took me about an hour. I actually used much less stain than I thought I would. Pictures are worth a thousand words. I was working with Rust to cover a sickly pink vinyl that was stained with dirt.

After sanding and dyeing my favorite leather chair & ottoman they look, and feel, like new. I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out! I had 2 different companies try and restore the look of my chair. Initially it looked fine but eventually cracked and looked like a mess within a short period of time. It took a little bit of time to sand and remove the “goop” that was left behind with previous attempts. Rub n Restore's dye went on very evenly and, again, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. So glad I found this!

I am so happy I found this product. I have had my leather set for over 10 years. Sun damage from skylights and glass patron doors had faded certain sections, and my big Labrador had left a scratch on one day of the cushions. I really started with you tube to see if there was a way to repair the scratch and then found multiple testimonials for this product. I chose the rust color since it matched the cushions and exposed areas the best even though the original color leaned to more of a cherry. I will include before and after pictures since I am so happy with the product. So easy to use and I could have mixed colors easily if wanted. I like the...More

I like the suggestions that you use less if you still want to have a bit of the variegated natural color. I way over bought because I was afraid I would run out of product. Rub n restore was fantastic about returning both the extra run n restore as well as extra cleaning product. I only needed one 16 ounce bottle of each. The clear prep and finish made it look like new! I also used them super glue trick for the scratch, and only I can notice the repair!

May work for others but not my project. Tried on a chair. Looked like painted plastic with streaks. I returned the product, and was refunded in full. I will get the chairs professionally done.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! I have a small sofa/love seat set that is12 years old. I was ready to kick it to the curb. I actually offered it to my youngest daughter who is in college and her response "no thank you Mom.!" I just sent her a photo of the sofa after refinishing it with Rub N Restore and her response was "please save it for me Mom." Your product is flipping amazing! I am actually adding two new pieces to the set. I had my husband drag out two old office chairs that have been in my garage for 10 years and I'm refinishing them with Rub N Restore! Thank you for this truly amazing product!

I sent a sample to the company for a custom color. My furniture was so badly faded that even a custom color matched to the original would have required dyeing the whole chair. They analyzed the sample and recommended a mixture of Rust and Cherrywood and include a free empty bottle for easy mixing.

I babysitted my uncles dog and she ran up and down my leather furniture, this fixed all the scratches and damage to my couch. Quick dry time and ease of use. It doesn't even look like my couch was ever damaged. Very happy!

REFUND ISSUED. SEAT WORE WELL BUT STAINED SHORTS. I requested samples to change the color of a black vinyl bicycle seat. Received the dye this afternoon and just finished 6 coats of it.  I am amazed at how well this went.  I’ll admit I was a little apprehensive.  The first coat went on really well, and after that it was really just touching things up.  The only difficult part was getting the hole in the middle of the seat, but I attribute that more to the sponge in that you apply on one side and wipe off with the other (my solution, put the dye on the edge and jam it in the hole).  I can easily give the product 5 stars as the color match...More

I can easily give the product 5 stars as the color matched the sample provided in the mail, went on very easily, and changed the color without any issues. The only caveat I have is I’m anxiously waiting to see how well it wears. To be honest, it really isn’t a reflection on the product, its just I’m using it in an application that’s outside what its typically used for, one that will receive a lot of aggressive wear. Also, I can imagine nice patina effect, and depending on the pattern might add some more character.
