Thank you, thank you, thank you! Everything you said was true ... the product is forgiving, does cover as directed and has brought the chair back to life. I obsessed over the how to's, can I, and the what ifs ... did I clean it correctly, is it streaky, etc. But with a little water everything blended in. Originally I intended to have a satin finish (2 to 1 ratio) but the chair looked like milk chocolate and was a bit dull. I ended up putting a top coat of the primer + sealer on the following morning and the chair just came to life. Altogether I think I spent about 5+ hours on the project.
