Customer Reviews & Photos of Rub 'n Restore®
Have had our forest green leather couch for 15 years, but after 2 kids wear and tear of every day life it has seen better days. I called around to inquire cost of redying my couch and cost was more than what we had paid brand new 15 yrs ago. Found RubnRestore in website read testimonials and order 16oz Forest Green dye and 16oz. Clear Prep+Finish. I now have our couch looking and feeling brand new. Very happy with outcome.

I admit it...I was skeptical that this product would actually work. BUT, I made a dramatic change from hunter green to beige. It took 12 coats, but it worked beautifully! I applied the product sparingly so as not to experience the cracks that I read would occur if I put it on too heavily. Everyone who has seen the results is in awe! I was quoted $4,500 to recover the vinyl in our boat and I changed it for just one 16 oz bottle of Rub and Restore & the Prep & Finish product! It was easy and the dry time was quick in between each coat. I would recommend this to absolutely everyone! It was easy and it definitely works!

When I was researching restoring leather, I saw a YouTube video demonstrating the product and thought that it was too good to be true. Boy was I wrong. This product is amazing and easy to apply. We bought a tan recliner, love seat and couch. After using Rub n Restore, they look brand new. The clear finish is the perfect finishing touch to the couches. It gave them brand new showroom glow. Everyone who sees the couches thinks they were newly purchased.

I bought a leather couch from a friend that was moving. The couch was in such good structural shape and very comfortable but had some discoloration (bluish green spots) on the cushions and side arms. I ordered the espresso colored rub and restore and then tested it. Perfect color but needed to get the clear coat to match the luster. I really really recommend you order them both together because you will almost certainly want the clear coat. Now the couch looks like something I will be proud to have in my living room!

Used this product to bring back life into my 1976 mercedes interior. WOW!!!! this stuff is amazing. Worked on all the vinyls, seats/door panels and even the bits of plastic trim like the handle and side pockets which are hard plastic.
This really is an above and beyond product. Super easy to use, great price, and fantastic results.

Once upon a time, we had a beautiful, expensive couch. After many years, it became dry and faded, and I was about to get rid of it. Since I had nothing to lose, I began researching leather restoration. Most of the information I found had to do with professional restoration - spray guns, mixing dyes, etc. Didn't have the time or patience for that, and I'm a perfectionist, so I figured it was all over for our couch. Then I saw a video on You Tube featuring a product called "Rub 'N Restore."
It had to be yet another too-good-to-be-true product, but I was intrigued. It wasn't expensive, and seemed not to require any equipment, so I too...More

It had to be yet another too-good-to-be-true product, but I was intrigued. It wasn't expensive, and seemed not to require any equipment, so I took a chance and ordered some. I figured it wouldn't really work, or would quickly peel or something like that, but I was going to throw the couch away anyway, so what the heck.
I was - and am - amazed. Our couch literally looks brand new. What had been a sad, parched, sun-bleached couch is now completely restored - beautiful, supple, sumptuous. And the great thing is it worked exactly as advertised (how often does that happen?). It takes technique, which you learn quickly, but not the kind of skill (such as with spray guns and dyes) that takes much longer to acquire - and yet it still looks like it's been professionally restored.
If you're even thinking of restoring a piece of furniture, I would wholeheartedly encourage you to get Rub 'N Restore. You won't be disappointed.

You saved me two zeros. I was about to spend $4500. for a new interior for my 65 Morgan but I now have a beautiful fresh leather interior for $45.00. The product is very effective and nearly foolproof . Ease of application is excellent and the cranberry color was a perfect match.
Thanks for a product that really works.

Bought a new spa cover 3 years ago for $450.00 from my Spa outlet store and within a year it started to fade. After 3 years the top was dry and very faded and the stitching was coming apart. Came across your product on line last month and decided to give it a try. I cleaned and restitched the cover and applied 3 light coats of dye and three coats of top coat. The top looks new again for $50.00 worth of product and I still have enough to do another two coats in the future. I live in a Northern climate and would suggest doing this in the garage or basement for extended curing time. Thank you for a great affordable product and I will update...More
