   Too soon to tell

   At this point, my sense is that the color, midnight blue, is not as dark as the sample that was sent. Also, It's been about 8 days since application and I can still rub off some color with a terry cloth rag if I apply only a moderate amount of pressure. I'll give it more time (luckily I tested it in an inconspicuous location) but I'm kind of discouraged at this point. The chair I'm hoping to "treat" is in good shape and made of high quality leather. I'm trying to restore the original color (dark blue) which has faded a bit more than I'd like.

   Blue is made with organic (not mineral) pigments and can sometimes be a little fussier. Dry buff the surface with a rag, as you have, until unstable pigment stops transferring. Pre-treating the rag (and any clothing) with washing soda or borax should remove the pigment after laundering. If deemed necessary, our Clear Prep+Finish or the special order Satin Sealer over the top can add an additional layer of protection.

   Deep color cover up

   Outstanding results

   Old and Raggedy

   I'm in love!

   This stuff is AWESOME!!! I took a " curb alert" free sofa and turned it into something beautiful and new again thanks to the midnight blue rub n restore paint and the protective clear coat. I'm obsessed now and I can't wait to try another project! Thank you!!

   I'm completely blown away by the finished project! I used "Midnight Blue" on my sun-warped "blue" leather chairs and think they actually look better than when I originally bought them. I used roughly three coats of the color and then finished with one coat of the Clear+Prep and Finish Conditioner. Extremely happy with this product and the results.

   Midnight Blue...Ohhh, ohhh, ohhh...

   The color turned out beautiful! I learned the importance of the Clear Prep and Finish and proper preparation. Order plenty of Clear Prep and Finish! I should have sanded some of the leather prior but I honestly didn't know it was scaly until I began coloring it. It took about 7 or 8 coats alternated with Prep and Seal to cover the back of the couch properly but the products are amazing. I can't believe it's my 22 year old furniture that has moved 13 times and had been in storage for 2 years prior to moving to Hawaii where it gets sun exposure in our living room. I am ever grateful and look forward to finishing up the love seat next week.

   I bought a leather sectional at a thrift store for $98 bucks. It was so gross and dirty, I literally threw the leather covers into the washing machine as there just wasn't any other way to get them clean. But...after cleaning it and then using the Rub n Restore, I couldn't be more pleased!

   The old pictures don’t show haw badly worn my chair was. My wife wanted to throw it away and get a new one. After my Rub n Restore treatment with the Midnight Blue and Prep Finish my wife said better than new. It has that old English men club look of a loving cared for antique.
