The tricky thing is the chairs had these random dark lines like an alligators skin (Lesandre called it a marbled-look), which I still wanted to show through, so I had to make a somewhat transparent glaze, by mixing the three products in the proper proportion. CC gave me advice on how to do this. So this review is more for their personal service than the Rust colored dye itself !! :-0

Just completed the refinishing job. Looks great. The leather furniture was about 18 years old, faded, worn...with significant pet damage. Here are some before and after photographs.

What a great product! So easy to apply and it covered beautifully. No bad smells and dried quickly. I wore gloves but the spots I got on my skin washed right off easily. I did an entire couch and loveseat and didn’t even use up one bottle of dye. I did two coats and then went back and did a light third coat just for depth. My friends and family thought I was crazy to dye furniture but now they are totally impressed. My order arrived very quickly too. This stuff is a treasure!

I would highly recommend this product! I was amazed that I restored an old green leather chair that was faded and stained into a beautiful grey chair that looks brand new but it SO worn in and comfortable!

Holy leather transformation! That was the most fun DIY project I've done in a long time. Was I skeptical? Yup. Was I blown away. OH YEAH! Not only did the black cover VERY well, it was easy to apply, and basically error-proof. We did take the recliner back off to allow for me to get into the crevices as best I could. Applied two or three coats of the leather Prep and Finish. (Full strength, not cut with the color.) Man, it looks so good!

The color dye products work well. I wish there were smaller bottles available for small projects where mixing several stock colors is required, eg. a “sample set” of 3 colors in smaller amounts. Spending nearly $50 for an 8oz. bottle gets expensive very fast. The products are great and are easy to apply. The instructions are good supplemented by YouTube videos, etc. The fast drying moves projects along quickly and redoing is not always required depending on residual dye in the leather.

This is the second time we've used the product and we are true believers. First time was on our family room couch and it worked like magic. This time was on my BMW interior. It looks brand new! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the dispenser/bottle leaks like CRAZY and we had quite a mess on our hands and driveway. Once opened, it would not seal again.

I wish that I had taken a before picture. This red color adds depth and warmth to my leather bag. Using the topcoat has brought the bag back To life. The product is easy to work with and gives great results

I found the steps to be easy to follow and my old leather looks just like new! I'm not afraid of redoing more leather projects! I did two of these club chairs and now I have to tackle the matching sofa--1 large bottle will handle all 3 projects. Very pleased with the results. I do recommend the shiny finish--it makes the color tone much richer and seems to seal the color very well.

Thank you! I just recolored and gave new life to our nothing-wrong leather sofa of 20 yrs. worked great!
I ordered peppercorn. I needed to cut the blue-ish tint down. I was happy with dark gray but in our lighting, it never looked right. So on next coat, I started with black and mixed in peppercorn 2/1. Then I finished with a glaze mix of same with the conditioner. It did darken it up more than I realized, but I love it.

Amazing product and great customer service. To start I strongly recommend the color matching service (if you want to keep the same color). They matched it perfectly. Great product and easy application. The YouTube videos also helped out too. Strongly recommend.
