The FC1 soft leather filler did a great job filling large defects and cracks. Worked well and easy to use. I am very satisfied with the result.

I used FC1 Soft Leather Filler to fill in a cracked area on the side of the chair. The area was roughly 3 x 2 inches and had several thin surface cracks which had not went all the way through to the base layer. I worked the filler into the cracks, 4 thin coats, and then applied the dye. I can no longer see the cracks and the area feels more supple, not brittle anymore.

I bought this product to repair a hole on a vintage vinyl ottoman. It was very easy to work with and it did exactly what it said it would do. I saved a ton of money doing it myself, fantastic product!

I had tried another product which had not worked very well. I then did some more research and found this filler and used it to repair a faux leather sectional. It worked as described and I am extremely pleased with the results. It is easy to use and dries to a flexible finish. I used a leather vinyl paint after the repair and it has blended in to give an exact match. I would certainly use this again.

I applied several very thin layers to the mesh substrate where the vinyl had cracked and flaked off on a car seat and made sure there was good adhesion with the remaining vinyl fragments. I only removed a few small pieces that were peeling away. I allowed each layer to dry and very lightly scuffed the final coat with 600 to ensure it was smooth.  While I was tempted to try and texture the finish I was satisfied with the way it turned out and made a custom color dye to reasonably match the surrounding seat material. I’m very pleased with the way it turned out and hope that the repair holds up to the wear it’s going to see. Thanks again for yo...More

I've tried some other brands, but love this filler the best! Easy to use and dries quickly.

I tried other products from different companies before I found Rub n Restore. They didn't come with a filler compound which is just one of the reasons why they didn't work. Can't say enough about this filler compound. Filled in the hole so I was able to dye and save a very expensive leather couch.

I had a 4 inch hole in my couch thanks to my dog and didn't want to replace the $900 piece. Your product filled the hole, stain was perfect. I had trouble smoothing the filling but no one notices it but me.

Easy to use. Only negative is that it is hard to get a smooth finish.

It took very long to dry. When it was finally dry, it was tacky to the touch and didn't sand well. I was not very happy with the results

I used 2oz this product to fill large holes and to texture a 3 piece set. It looks and feels great. Nobody can believe how great the couches and chair turned out. I'm very happy and would recommend this product.

Took a chance and ordered this to try to fix a peeling bonded leather sofa. I had 2 cushions that had extensive peeling on the front half of them. Ordered 2, 1 oz jars. Glad I did, as I needed most of that! Skimmed the surface with this, and re-did parts as needed. It dried pliable and filled in cracks. Just had a problem after it dried, as it says to lightly sand if needed, but the marks didn't sand out. Recommend reallllly making sure you have a smooth surface after your application. So happy with this product!

    Hi Lesandre and CC:

Got the 'slate' and 'stone' dyes (along with the patching compound) yesterday.

2 words: 'WOW' and 'THANKS'. Both the sofa and chair (approx. 15 years old) literally look brand new. Unfortunately, I didn't take 'before' pictures, but the transformations are truly incredible. You're selling a phenomenal product (but you already knew that)!!!

I love your products! After finding you on youtube and watching several videos multiple times, I ordered the supplies I needed to repair our torn couch. This was my first attempt ever at leather repair. I am very pleased with the results! I used espresso. Thanks!

Thanks for all your help. The best match ended up being the rust and cherrywood. I first did a layer of rust, then a layer of cherrywood, and then added a glaze of both mixed with the clear prep finish and the result is awesome! I only painted the 3 seat cushions, the back cushions and arm rests are the original color. Thank you again.
