A milky white haze is a rare occurrence with Clear Prep+Finish™ and usually occurs on dark colors where it was applied too thickly and / or over-worked as it began to dry.
The Solution:
- Wet a sponge or rag with water, and wring out most the excess.
- Gently buff the surface in a circular motion to thin the finish.
- Allow to dry.
You can also try a quick swipe with rubbing alcohol, though this may strip color and require touch-up.
Worst case scenario, apply a glaze (mixture of color and Clear Prep+Finish) as your final topcoat. Even the tiniest drizzle of color added to the color will correct the haze.
