Sponge

Picture of array of cellulose sponges used to apply leather paint to upholstery

Use a damp cellulose sponge to apply a new finish to leather or vinyl upholstery. It does a great job of working the color into the grain and can be used to print or mottle color to create a distressed or burnished appearance.

I bought one sponge only thinking buying at dollar store would be cheaper. Did regret my choice. Dollar store here in Moncton didn’t have just the sponge. The only thing they had was the scrubbers one. I tried to use that but was not working well so had to go to Canadian Tire. They were they only one having sponges closest to the one of Rub & Restore.
They rip and you have to use more than one to do the job.

The sponges are the perfect sponges for applying the Rub 'n Restore products.
