I love this product, worked phenomenally and test it with old but white sweat-shorts and there was no rubbing off or anything. Transformed this faded sofa.

My couch is 20 years old but did not want to by a new one yet with small kids who destroy everything. Needed to lighten up the room. 5 coats and 6 hours of hard work later…voila! Could have maybe used one more coat but I couldn’t muster the energy. Looks and feels great.

Was definitely skeptical at first… took about 3 coats with some areas harder than others but what an easy application and once I was happy with the evenness of the color I did a final topcoat with the “Clear prep & finish” and OMG! What a transformation! My bench seat from my vintage trailer looks glossy & new! Amazing product! So happy I spent a little extra money and didn’t use vinyl spray paint!

I think the photo speaks for itself. We had two identical chairs that, due to dogs laying on them, etc., had really deteriorated. We did some research and found Rub N Restore. We first had two color swatches sent--beige and ivory--and chose ivory because it was a little closer match, although a bit lighter than the original. We bought 16oz of dye and 8oz of the clear topcoat. We first did a little prep on the cushions, which had the worst damage. Then, we mixed the clear and dye and applied the first (light) coat to the worst areas, did two more coats of the dye over the whole chairs, and then did a top coat of the clear. This picture is before the topcoat. It was a little hard at first to not get streaks, but the trick is to rub and rub and rub as it dries. We ended up with about 1/3 left in each bottle. We could have used more up with additional coats, but didn't see much point.

OMG!!! This stuff is AMAZING! Not going to lie, I was skeptical! We paid about $3K for this couch years ago & have hated that it faded/wore the way it did. We were about to ditch it for a new one when I saw your product! Thank you for giving this couch a new life!

I CANNOT believe this product. I got this disgusting sofa off of marketplace. I figured I’d give Rub n Restore a shot. Holy Moly this is the best product I’ve ever used! It brought this sofa back to life! See for yourself

I used this on a ancient set of furniture in our work lounge. The pieces turned out great. Two years later and they still look fantastic despite very very heavy use. Slight fading but I didn’t seal the color during application because I thought that red coming through later on would look neat. Love the eggplant color. Also got way more coverage out of the product than expected.

First the good: this product goes on easy and looks absolutely phenomenal after the initial application. The color blends well and makes my couch look brand new.
The bad: even after being allowed to cure for a full two weeks, the color starts to rub off in high wear areas after a month or so. The attached photos are about 6 weeks after product application.
Every month or two I have to go re-touch up my couch to get it looking nice again. I've gone through an entire 8oz. bottle in a little under 8 months.
If the color were more permanent, this product would get a perfect 5 stars from me. As it stands, it's about 2.5.

I ended up going with a somewhat lighter color which is closer to the base color, so that any wear is less immediately noticeable. That combined with the Satin Sealer product has made the finish on my couch MUCH more durable. Where before the product would only last for a couple weeks before needing a touchup, it's now a couple months, and requires far less product. Considering there are 2 little kids and 3 large dogs abusing it daily, I'd say those results are more than acceptable.I can't imagine that any product is going to perform much better, given the conditions we're inflicting on it.
I really appreciate your taking the time. Based on Lesandre's absolutely stellar support, combined with the very noticeable improvement in my results, I'd give the product 5 stars. I absolutely recommend it, and will be purchasing again in the future.

This stuff is amazing attached are the before and after pictures and it was so easy to do. If you follow the instructions on pamphlet’s and the videos they have online it’s smooth sailing. Loved the product and the fact that I can change the color if I don’t like the outcome is the best part.

I started this week long project transforming my faded red chairs and ottomans to the walnut color.
I got a great result, but what made it challenging was the gazillion nail head tacks. First I removed them, but soon became weary of that. I ordered the angled artist brush from your website and it proved to make working around the nail heads a lot easier. Thank goodness I’m finally finished and very pleased with the result!

I bought some kids chairs when grand kids was just babies and wanted to updated look and found rub n restore. This stuff is amazing for giving old furniture new look . My husband thought I bought new chairs for them .

Absolutely love this product. Extremely easy to use, works amazingly well.
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CLOSELY. I got the personal consult with my pieces before starting and very carefully read through all instructions. I see that several of the bad reviews essentially had poor outcomes that could've been avoided by just following directions. Don't try shortcuts.
Absolutely love my new black couches. I wish I had something else to dye just for the pleasure of using this product again. Thank you SO much!

But it started to look worn a handful of years ago so I went and got a case of custom-made spray finish from my local automotive paint shop to get it looking good.
