16 oz buttercup and 2 oz yellow oxide plus 2 oz clear prep makes beautiful mustard color
Making the buttercup a deeper, darker mustard with Clear and yellow oxide universal colorant made the coverage way better. This sofa went from a reddish brown to mustard 🤗. Love it!

    Love my new buttercup chair!
Had this oversized leather chair that got badly faded as it was beside a window. Decided to paint it buttercup. Rub restore gave me some great tips and off I went. Probably spent 6 hrs to do chair and footrest. Love it and easy to do. I did several coats on the really faded parts that were also stained. I get lots of comments and love that I can use it again in my reading nook!

I have to tell you: I'm NOT an artistic person and have NO talent for painting anything. If I could transform my old garage sale bought chair in this amazing brand new piece that is lightning my living room, I bet you can do the same! See the pictures!

We got leather chairs that were more beaten up that the pics showed. I googled something about "fixing" leather furniture. I was not hopeful. Within a week I had my package from rubnrestore. My chairs look like new. REALLY.

I was a bit anxious to try this product because of the cost, but am exceptionally pleased with the result! Three thin coats turned stark white to a rich and lovely color that will hold it's own under stage lighting. There is a tiny bit of streaking, but that could easily be my application technique. By the time I finish the 5 pieces of furniture that need transforming my guess is there will be less visible flaws.

I just wanted to let you know that I absolutely love your product. I just did an old couch. I wanted a fun color as it is going in my She Shed... so I chose Buttercup. It's amazing! I've already told two people.

Ladies. This stuff is AMAZING. My leather sofas are what I referred to as yellow when I purchased them used on craigslist years ago. At some point a friend referred to the color as buttercup. I love them. Sturdy construction, solid furniture. But with time and my dog and cat laying around on them while I'm at work the leather began to fade and crack. I found you and your product on the internet and decided to try it out. I only wish I had taken a photo of before and after. I purchased a bottle of buttercup and a bottle of white thinking I was going to have to adjust the color. Lo and behold. Buttercup is was!!! True to the color....More

I am an artist and i have done a lot of restorations with a lot of products and polyurethane and paints. This product is off the charts amazing (I bought cherrywood, buttercup, and espresso colors). It doesn't have noxious odors, doesn't stain anything except what it's supposed to stain, is completely brush - stroke forgiving, doesn't ruin my clothes, a project can be finished in a day....I could go on for pages! I will send my photos too but I just couldn't wait to say something because I am so happy I tried this product. Thank you!!! I think that's what I am trying to say, just Thank You!!!
