I can easily give the product 5 stars as the color matched the sample provided in the mail, went on very easily, and changed the color without any issues. The only caveat I have is Iām anxiously waiting to see how well it wears. To be honest, it really isnāt a reflection on the product, its just Iām using it in an application thatās outside what its typically used for, one that will receive a lot of aggressive wear. Also, I can imagine nice patina effect, and depending on the pattern might add some more character.

I have completed my couch restoration project using your Rub n Restore products with fantastic results! The entire process was easy and actually a lot of fun. Hopefully we can get some extended life out of these "almost like new" pieces.
Your products worked so well I am going to purchase the merlot to refinish a leather recliner. I also have some family and friends requesting my services with their new found leather projects.
Thank you for the help and advice.

I just finished my chair project using rubnrestore in midnight blue.
The chair was far from perfect when purchased from a garage sale, so, it still has a couple of dents in the cushion and arms where something had been stored. Darn!
I used the clear finish after 48 hours of curing the dye. It is the frosting on the cake! I loved working with this product.
Thanks!

The Walnut RnR made my love seat and chair look great. I especially liked the way it tasted when mixed with coffee. It was also the perfect substitute jet fuel for my aircraft.
I didn't know boiling RnR with sand would yield a perfect blue diamond, but I guess you live and learn.
Well, that's about it for now.
P.S. Don't try this at home kids

I am absolutely dumbfounded by the "fool proof" nature of Rub N Restore. After the initial application, I had concerns, given the pillowy nature of the seat backs and the pleated nooks and crannies around the stitching, this product wouldn't display an even tone. However, after the second application, it was easy to see the color blending more evenly. The pictures just don't do justice to how amazing this product is. Rub N Restore is clearly the "sliced bread" of do-it-yourself monochromatic leather dyeing.

Rub 'n Restore is a great product, but more importantly, the company has outstanding customer service. I'm glad there's companies like this doing business successfully in today's climate. Keep up the great work :)

I found that the product did exactly as advertised. We received great results in refinishing an old white leather sectional. We ended up using just over 16oz of the product. The unexpected part was how time consuming this process actually was. The videos make it appear very simple and fast. While it is easy it takes much more effort that shown.
We even attempted to use the Preval Sprayer (Which failed miserably, do not buy these things they don't work. Ended up getting more dye on my hands then coming out of the nozzle.)

After exhausting searches for a reasonable re-upholsterer and or lsome one to dye my badly stained leather living room set. I saw a youtube video featuring Rub n restore and my family and I could not be any happier. I was contemplating purchasing new furniture and trashing my current furniture and I am so glad I found this product!

I recently took my cognac leather couch and loveseat and dyed it black. The coverage was awesome and the process was so easy.

I received your products today and couldn't wait to get started. I was only able to do the seat cushions and ottoman tonight, but those are what needed the most work. I am thrilled! They look so good! The cognac color worked perfectly for my saddle-colored aniline. I love it. And it was so easy! I'm going to do the chairs tomorrow to get the color to match the cushions and ottoman. Thank you so much!

We bought a salvaged leather chair for $50 and it had discolored spots all over the arms. My daughter wanted it for her room if we could change it to white. It took 2 days but I finally finished it. I had to use some clear finish where the white didn't want to take in some spots and I lost track of how many coats after about 14. lol I still have 1/4 a bottle left possibly a little more. My daughter loves it and over all I am thrilled with her new chair. The tech support and customer service helped tremendously and ensured that my project was a success on what I am told is the hardest color change to do.

Great product that restored our heavily sun damaged leather cushions to a nice, even black color.
Easy to use. We put 2 thin (thinned with water) coats on the most damaged areas and had a even color in the end. Use the sealer to add a sheen.

I can't say enough about how pleased I am with my chair restoration! I am changing the color scheme of my room and my leather chair was still in good shape. A friend recommended that I dye it rather than get rid of it. I did my research online and read all the wonderful testimonials about Rub'n Restore and decided it was worth trying. After all, if it didn't work, I had planned on getting rid of the chair since it didn't go with my new decor. I absolutely love it!! It took me 2 day and three coats. I used about a quarter of a 16 oz. bottle. I haven't put on the glossy coat yet because I kind of like the satiny finish. Thank you agai...More

I recently refurbished a 2007 MX-5 Miata with scuffed and scratched seats. I looked a several products but went with Rub'nRestore because it was Water based and the application video demonstrated the ease of application. I did necessary prep with simple green and alcohol and the process was very easy. I treated the worst panels and seams let dry. I two coated the entire seats, drying between coats. I let the dye cure as directed, and put on the clear coat. Results were Awesome !!
Several club member will be getting their black back in my garage !!

Used this on my ancient green leather couch and it now looks like a new black couch! Although it does require quite a bit of time to apply (full size couch with many wrinkles) it is great for those who want an affordable product.
