We were looking for decent furniture for our college cuties and their roommates. The girls have champagne taste on a beer budget as my dad would say. So we found 3 living room pieces on Craigslist for $200 -SCORE. They were leather, in good shape, no weird smells, no rips, cushions were all firm and comfy. The sofa had a stained cushion and some water damage from the owner using the wrong products to try to clean it, the chair was just older and starting to show cracking and some fading. I wasn't sure what color to order but I selected walnut. It covered very well even in worn areas. Walnut looks like milk chocolate. It was lighter than my furniture, but it looks great!

I am just amazed at how GREAT my chair looks! Thank you for a good product and customer service. All my friends are amazed too, who knew you could revive and change the color of vinyl furniture!

barely used half of the 8oz bottle of black to recolor my Selig lounge chair from ugly yellow-tan to lustrous black! Matched with walnut stain on the plywood. From trashy to Classy!

I am SOOOOO happy with the results and it was simple. It did take a little muscle to get into the cracks (the cushions on this set do not come off so getting down in the cracks took some work but I got a good arm workout). Anyone can do this. I can't believe someone charges $3000 for this. I got it done in one day. It dries in minutes and is ready for the next coat. Because it was a dramatic change, it took about 5 coats...but it was fast and easy. This will NOT rub off on your clothing when it is dry and sat on it 15 minutes after dyeing it.

Originally, I intended to use the white to dye a couple of chairs. as the process of coloring other leather items, in the same room evolved, I decided to mix my own color to compliment the other items. It worked beautifully.
The ease in applying and the beauty of the results makes the Rub n Restore Products a terrific choice.

We were going to buy a new couch and decided to try this product before we did...we had nothing to lose. Well forget buying a new couch! It looks so good with just one coat and matched the color almost perfectly! Thanks so much to CC for her help too! So informative and helpful!

Wow. Wouldn't believe it if I hadn't done it myself. Thanks for taking my $30 bargain chair from drab to fab!

The Red Chili recliner and Turquoise couch look great. I have to ask... Is this some alien technology that you got from a crashed UFO in area 51? cause no one believes me when I tell them how easy it is and how quick it went from brown to red and turquoise. You ladies have something special here. Thanks.

We bought a new home, and we decided to buy an old, leather sofa from the sellers to use until we moved in.Ā Our plan was to toss the sofa when we were done with it.Ā Turns out, we needed a statement piece of furniture in a den area, so we decided to use Rub n Restore to turn the old, worn out sofa into a like-new eye popper.Ā We bought the Red Chili dye and the Clear Prep & Finish.Ā We followed the directions and simply kept applying the products (mixed 50-50 right on the sponge) coat after coat.Ā Pretty easy DIY project.Ā The results were excellent.Ā It truly looks like a brand new sofa.Ā And, the color (though bold) is just what we wanted....More

I received the product last week and used it on my leather sofa I was cringing on having to replace. I used it as instructed and the sofa looks absolutely amazing. Now I can keep my sofa and enjoy it a few more years. Thanks so much for making the product available and saving me a lot of money!

This stuff is amazing! Turned our worn 23 year old leather sofa into the centerpiece of our home. We went from a light beige to the deep and beautiful cognac. Can't believe the outcome, very impressive!

I would highly recommend this product. It turned my old leather chair into a brand new looking brown leather chair. I would use again.

I just finished restoring a lounge suite using RNR, and the result is well worth the $100AU to have the product shipped to Australia.

āI used roughly 30 oz. of dye for a chair, loveseat, and sofa, and it took 9.5 hours to complete. Great product!ā

I had an aniline leather loveseat that had seen better days. It was stained, had a few cat scratches and was also the wrong color for my current decor. I found Rub 'n Restore while researching my options. I thought I couldn't go too far wrong so, after asking for and receiving samples (twice), I ordered the Cherrywood and Clear Prep+Finish. I had watched all the videos, so I proceeded to fix the cat scratches, then I made a glaze by mixing the two products to achieve a mottled finish. I could hardly believe how easy it was to get absolutely professional results! The loveseat is now proudly used in our home and I am on the lookout for other hi...More

I've never worked with leather before, so I was totally new to this, but am so thrilled with the results! I got a large 3 piece leather sectional for free. It was completely faded and worn with an area of damage from the owner's dog's nails. I figured it was worth a try since I got it for free anyway. After scrubbing it for hours with 409 and getting thick layers of dirt off, I was able to do the fun part of using Rub and Restore. Now the sectional is beautiful! My family just can't believe how much better it looks! Exceptional product!!!
