Thank you so much for a great product, ladies. I am so impressed by what you offer. I like leather furniture. I really do. BUT, what I DON'T like is the havoc that careless kids, large dogs and a sweaty shirtless man (that being me) can wreak on said leather furniture. From peeling, staining to just plain being an eye sore. My couch and chair were DESTROYED by a combo of all of the above. So, what to do? Do you throw them away, even though the scale suits your living quarters pretty well and they've got good bones, or do you invest three or so hours to refinish it? I'm a DIY'er by heart, so with some spare time on my hands, I chose the latter...More

Thank you again for a great product.

It went on smooth and easily. I had a little problem with streaking but it seems like adding more coats helped. I wish I had before and after pictures as the chair now looks new and it sure did not before.

Although my sectional is bonded leather and it's NOT recommended for it since I had nothing to loose (it was ugly looking already) I decided to give it a try. This product worked really well. It gave my sectional a better looking surface. It has been only a month and it hasn't peeled or rub in our clothes. My husband wants me to buy more and save it for future needs. The smell is strong for 2 days and then is just GONE COMPLETELY. Even my dogs lay in the sectional without any problems. I love it!!

I did two layers of coating of the provided dye. It looked good and we were happy with the result. But just after 5 days of usage, we observed that sofa color was going off at the places where usage was high.

LOVE your product! I am a super skeptic about everything, so I ordered hoping for the best, but expecting to be disappointed. I was instead thrilled with the results, and I am telling everyone about it!

I was very pleased with this product. I had purchased a new seat for a car I was restoring but it arrived much lighter than I wanted, three coated if peppercorn and now you cannot tell the difference! Very happy!

I purchased cognac in 2014 when my niece recommended it. I never got to it until this year. I purchased 8 oz bottle and ran out. I ordered an additional 16 oz and was concerned that the color might have changed, but it arrived and was exactly the same. It was easy to use and very thorough. Both sofa and love seat look marvelous. Cognac is lighter than my previous red brown color.and covers completely. I love it.

Works perfectly. It does take several coats to hide a worn spot etc but it works. Be very careful with the material so it doesnt stain anything other than your couch. Instructions are very very helpful.

After sanding and dyeing my favorite leather chair & ottoman they look, and feel, like new. I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out! I had 2 different companies try and restore the look of my chair. Initially it looked fine but eventually cracked and looked like a mess within a short period of time. It took a little bit of time to sand and remove the ā€œgoopā€ that was left behind with previous attempts. Rub n Restore's dye went on very evenly and, again, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. So glad I found this!

Ordered it from Canada & it was here within 1 week. It was so easy to apply. I did 3 coats to make sure it was all covered & I still have extra. It looks and feels like store bought leather.

I recently gave my couch and loveseat a major face lift using the Espresso stain and I love it!! These two pieces of furniture were sent to the basement because I didn't like the look of the leather. The colour had changed and the seat area looked worn. The leather was in good shape, it didn't have any tears or scratches. So I thought just go for it.. I ordered online it was super simple and I received great customer service ordering online and when I've contacted Rub 'n Restore on Facebook. I've shown co-workers, friends and family my before and after photos and they were amazed. I highly recommend this product. It was so simple to use ...More

Great product and easy to use!!! I took an orange-ish (persimmon) set of leather chairs and couch and changed the color to a deep chocolate (mahogany). We were about ready to pitch the furniture due to the color and water stains. I did two applications and finished with the Prep and Finish product. Results were amazing and anyone we showed the furniture too could not believe the results. Super easy to work with and clean up was very easy as well.

I initialy bought filler, black color, and this sealer to try to salvage leather seats in Spanish antique chairs for a Taos rehab project. If successful, I'd save about $700 for a custom leather reupholstering job. not a bad gamble for roughly $60. after refinishing the wood to clean and age appropreate condition, I worked on the leather, and the finished product is MUCH better than new leather. It retains some aged character, but appears all new. the clear sealer was the finishing key. Afterward I used the clear on a very high quality but neglected leather couch, cushions, and pillows, all really old, dry, dirty, and well used. After a quick cleaning of the surface (409), six coats of clear with an hour dry time between coats, and you'd swear these pieces were just delivered from the King Ranch saddlery and leather works. Maybe saved $5,000 replacement of those beauties.
And then there were the barn boots, ugly but in good condition... like new now with mahogany color and two clear coats.
Keep a quart of clear handy. I completed all the above ob less that 2 quarts, and saved a bundle.
