I bought a low priced vinyl-leather looking couch at Macy's about 20 years ago. The salesman told me honestly that it was a good value and would wear pretty well if I did not abuse it. It was always very comfortable but recently was showing its age. I took a chance on rubnrestore because I felt I had nothing to lose by trying to rejuvenate it. I tried to redo it in the same color, and Forest was a pretty good match to the original green (got a swatch first).

The dye worked extremely well and even helped to fill in some rough areas where the back pillows were worn. I did this outside of course, but should have protected my driveway better. The dye washes off hands fairly easily, but not asphalt. I let the whole couch dry for 2 days then brought it outside again and used the clear conditioner on top of the dye, also by a spray method. I think it must be stressed here to use THIN multiple coats. The couch looks 100% better, and I have had many nice comments about it. Even if it only extends the usable life of the couch by a few years, rubnrestore is worth the investment.

I love this stuff! I am so baffled that I can change my faux leather couches from a dark red to a medium gray and they look beautiful! Seriously, you can't tell that they were never a different color. Mine took 3 coats to look amazing. People are shocked when I tell them I dyed my couches. The texture is just the same as before I applied the product. I love this stuff!

We colored an oldet sofa that had yellowed with marine white. Sofa looks brand new. Waiting to see how long product holds up.

Here is the before and after for the colour change, we are thrilled! The couch looks like new and covered where it had worn badly and discoloured on the edges. The couch clashed badly with the walls and curtains, now it looks brand new and now goes with the rest of the house. An amazing easy to use product! Thought you might like to see before and after photos, excuse the floors we are undergoing renovations. I also touched up a pair of white leather shoes which had discoloured, this product has so many uses!

Hot tub siding is 6 years old and bleached in the Texas sun. Cleaned with Flite. Much improved after two coats of clear prep and two coats of espresso dye.

Product works great, easy to use, dries fast, shipping was fast.
BEWARE the final WALNUT color is very different then what is shown online.
After three coats on two separate chairs, the color is far lighter then expected. One chair was originally light brown and the other was a dark olive green. Both chairs came out the same light milk chocolate hue.
Yes there is a note in the description on the site about the chocolate milk color, but the swatch shown was what I was after.
Now I have to order another bottle of a darker color to get the chairs darker... what a pain, not to mention the $$$.

First off, get the free swatches! The product itself is pretty good however the color? It's terrible! The color looks nothing like the online photo even after days of drying. I honestly think my chair ( the parts that I stained ) looks worse now then it did before I tried to "fix" it. Now I need something to cover this awful orange. I can't believe others have said it looks just like the online color depicted. I'm wondering if I got a bad batch or something. Anyway I would recommend buying a darker shade or getting the swatches before buying a big bottle.

What an amazing product! I just did the vinyl ceiling in my 1982 trawler boat. Very dirty and badly tobacco stained from previous owner. I tried every cleaner I could find and even had two professional boat cleaners try. Nothing. Then I found your product. So easy to apply. I am blown away. My ceiling looks like '1982' all over again!

Thanks for such a wonderful product! Absolutely! I have been telling everyone about the product and how much I love the way it turned out. The chairs were given to us and we were just going to hang on to them until we came across something better. Now I think I will keep them for myself :) I have attached before and currents pics. We had an old, worn dark brown Livingroom chair we were going to throw out; but it was still comfortable. It is an absorbing leather so we decided to try to restore it with your product first! So glad we did; it almost looks brand new!

I just ordered your product in dark red to refurbish an old leather sofa. The couch looks brand new!! It couldn't have been easier and couldn't have looked better! You have an AMAZING and easy to use product.
