This was a perfect match for a spot on our vinyl couches that had a worn spot. The vinyl covered leather couches are 5 years old with heavy wear. The plastic had pealed off and there was textured light tan fabric/suede underneath. The stain went on easily and dried quickly. The texture is still like suede and not smooth, but the spot is barely noticeable. It was definitely a quick fix for an eyesore. I could have sanded the spot smooth and might go back and do that, but for having family over at Christmas, this was fast!

I bought this product because we were going to have to replace our leather chair. I thought I would give it a try. It was very easy and made the chair look like new. We couldn't believe it. There was enough for our chair and for our daughter's sofa and loveseat. Their dog scratched it, and it was restored to like new also. I am reordering for a different leather piece. It is a miracle.

I transformed a dirty and tired out beige couch with this product. It absolutely looks brand new. Couldn't be happier to have recycled the couch instead of taking it to the dump and buying a new one.

I can’t say enough good about your products. I looked for 3 solid weeks to try and find a new leather couch and just couldn’t stand the thought of giving up our comfortable 25 year old couch. I actually bought 3 couches and cancelled them before they were delivered. There were various reasons why they wouldn’t work for us. I also fixed a few rips in the leather after applying the first coat. And since we had zippered cushions, I was able to add thin pieces of foam that I cut from an old camping mat and tucked them in behind the back pillows and underneath the end reclining seats. This plumped out the seats perfectly.
When I started out I said out loud “This is a joke, this is ridiculous!” because it just didn’t seem like it was working very well. Then, I remembered that you said to be patient and apply more coats until the color covered well. Then, after about the 3rd coat, I said, “Oh my gosh, this really is working…I can’t believe it!” I applied 5 coats total and one coat of sealer and it looks fantastic. It only took about maybe 10 hours total to do it and now I am one of your new best advocates!
We just couldn't be happier with our old/new sofa! Thanks so much. You were so helpful too when I had questions. You were right, our friends just can’t believe its our old sofa!

It totally saved me about $15000 on having to replace couches in my rental home. I didn't want to do that, so THANK GOODNESS for this stuff.
It took me about 6 hours to do the three couches and two ottomans, but, I figure it would have taken more than that to shop for new ones. Amazing!

Have no fear and proceed forward. It really does work and it looks amazing!! I have little artistic talent. It is not required. I did my couch and recliner and it was so easy it's laughable! I felt the color was too light but it was the color of the swatch. I just hadn't realized that I wanted something darker. That was my mistake. I will leave it for a few days but I may get a darker color and do it again!!

I am so impressed with your products. I have a 10 year old cream leather corner sofa that would cost me a fortune to replace. I have 3 boys and it has taken a bashing. I live in Ireland and ordered the beige colour and clear prep and finish online. It was delivered promptly and I got to work on the sofa. I followed your instructional videos.
I am blown away by how well my sofa looks - it looks brand new. I am delighted and so pleased that I was able to do this myself. I am so delighted that I didn't buy a new sofa.

I used your product on my leather recliner and couch that I was about to throw away because they looked so bad. The leather was intact and the mechanisms worked fine. They are 10 years old. I tried everything and none worked. Then I found Rub and Restore. All I can say is wow!!! I did learn a few things though. The recliner took 14 coats. They were very light and I used the Prep and Finish after every four coats. The chair and couch look like new. It has been a month and they just look better every day. I was pretty skeptical about this product on how well it would actually work. But it did AWESOME!!!!! I'm so excited for how good it did. My parents bought these real leather couches 19 years ago. Well I wanted them and wanted to see if I could get them back to their original color. Well it WORKED!!!!! They were almost a red worn out color now they are back to a dark brown and I'm so excited!!

The product was very good and did a great job of covering the old leather even though the leather was very rough and flaking in spots. Unfortunately, the color was lighter than I expected based on the analysis done to match the leather swatch I sent the company.

if you follow the instructions it works great, it might take longer than spray paint, but spray paint is aweful and doesn't work the same, I used this product on boat vinyl and it looks factory, you cannot tell there is a coat on it, I am very pleased and would not used anything else

I wanted to share before and after pictures of a recliner that I used your product on. The color I chose was Mahogany. I also used the Clear Prep and Finish which is a necessity, in my opinion. Fun product to use. It turned my couch white from beige but it leaves the leather dry even after using the primer twice. It also does not perfectly covers the rinkles: the product accumulates in the rinkles and then peels off or cracks. I would recommend sending a sample of your leather to ask advice first, which I did not do.
It looks like new.
