This stuff is incredible! Compared to the other types of leather restoration available, this has the least amount of prep work with the best results. I had a full size couch that needed a lot of work on the cushions from years of wear and a loveseat that needed to completely change color to match my bigger couch.
The color matching was perfect and was very simple to apply. I bought the 16oz bottle to do these and have so much left over that I could change the color of a whole other couch if I wanted to. The couch looks brand new!

Sooo Happy
I was ready to give away our once beautiful sofa after years of family use. It was badly faded and stained. The sofa also had scratch marks from our dog. We recently remodeled our living room and it looked so out of place. I had refinished another chair with success but felt this sofa project was simply too far gone. Rub n Restore is creamy, pigment rich, easy to apply, and comes in all these beautiful colors. I was really blown away by the application being so easy and the pigment being so creamy and full coverage, as well as drying fairly quickly so you can add more coats in a day if needed. Our project did end up taking several weekends over 2 months letting it cure in between when we were busy. I had to apply at least 4 more coats after that even though we had full coverage and color saturation, but needed more paint to get rid of the tonal streaks. I had also tried adding water to a couple of the coats and lightly spraying water to keep the paint wet while working with it, per recommended steps, which was a bad idea and also created streaks at dry down because my ottoman is very smooth leather and had no texture to the finish. Needed it to be smooth and perfect, which I finally got by adding a few more coats of paint and not using any clear coat at all. Foam sponge also does not work well, had the best results with a sponge wrapped in terry cloth for stain application that we got at Home Depot. Whew! We love it though, we gave new life to a free ottoman but did end up spending less than $100 in paint to do so.

Used the Marine White on my Boat cushions and they look brand new. Went on easy after previously cleaning the seats to remove all dirt and oil. Highly recommend.

Changed sofa, two chairs and ottoman from light yellow to ash gray. The end result was very good but required 8 to 9 coats. Would use again but would not look forward to the process.

I used the ash grey to tone down the yellowish color of my kitchen chairs. They were almost an almond color and didnāt go well with my granite and backsplash. My chairs only had padded seats, so it was an easy job. I did four thin coats and they came out amazing! I hope they hold up, because they really look beautiful!

I found a high end leather couch on Marketplace for $75. I was in great shape, no holes or tears in the leather but it was pretty worn and sun bleached and had to much orange in the original color for my taste. I wanted to give it a more modern look. Iāve just completed my third project and once again Iām thrilled with the result. I snagged a free leather couch off Marketplace. This one was riskier because I found out it was bonded leather after the fact. The previous finish was severely faded in a few areas, but the integrity was good overall.

The color on my 13 year old ivory leather La-Z-Boy recliner was starting to wear through from repeated cleanings, mostly on the headrest. I ordered ivory and marine white dye based on samples of white, ivory and beige that I pre-ordered. The ivory was a bit more yellow than the sample led me to expect, and in hindsight I wish I had ordered the beige as well. I applied 3 coats, refining the color as I went. I added a couple of drops of brown latex paint to the dye to get the color where I wanted it. The color was exactly like the sample, and covered up dog urine stains completely. I finished with the Clear Prep+ Finish Conditioning sealer and the the sheen matched perfectly.

The product will come off with water because it is water based, just be aware of that. if you buy this one, you most likely will need a clear coat to prevent it from coming off as much. The customer service of this company is impressive, I was outraged because the paint ruined a shirt of mine when the paint came off from the couch, I was not expecting this after leaving the couch drying for about a week.
after communicating with customer service about the incident, they assisted me without hesitation and help me deal with the issue.
