The color turned out beautiful! I learned the importance of the Clear Prep and Finish and proper preparation. Order plenty of Clear Prep and Finish! I should have sanded some of the leather prior but I honestly didn't know it was scaly until I began coloring it. It took about 7 or 8 coats alternated with Prep and Seal to cover the back of the couch properly but the products are amazing. I can't believe it's my 22 year old furniture that has moved 13 times and had been in storage for 2 years prior to moving to Hawaii where it gets sun exposure in our living room. I am ever grateful and look forward to finishing up the love seat next week.

Products worked exactly as advertised. Quick and easy to apply. Sectional which is 23 years old restored to new condition with only 6 hours work, cleaning to final finish. CC & Lesandre's expert advice prior to starting the project helped greatly.

We first baught the cherry red color and sent it back because it was not a match for our lazy boy collection.
Got some color swatches which they recommend. Found the mahogany color and it was perfect.

I bought the black dye, it works as advertised. A couple passes over the dried compound was suffice to get the depth of color I needed. However, when I received the package, the cap must not be secured properly and some of the dye had leaked out and dried on the bottle. The spillage happened to be right over the information panel of the label.

Great product which did everything I wanted it to do. The base prep product set up the vinyl so applying the dye was quick and simple. The added bonus was the great service. I filled out questionnaire from which I got back product recommendation with quantities all filled out on an order form. They included everything you need to do the project. That made ordering easy. The instruction were easy to follow and spot on with what I needed to know.
My email question was answered the same day so I felt supported throughout the process.

This product is fantastic - (I am now mourning an older leather couch that my father in law owned that we gave away because we didn't know how to make it look better). It was so simple to use - do exactly as you are told by Lesandre. Follow the directions, watch the videos and you can't possibly go wrong. I am now in the process of doing another white chair and we ended up being game enough to purchase a second hand double recliner that was in rough shape because I am confident I could repair and restore it. I did it over an evening with good light and a couple of red wines. I highly recommend it (the red wine too!)

Our couches were given to us after they were put into storage with plastic over them and had yellowed. Iāve been wishing we could see them in their prime for years now! I knew they were in crumby condition but when compared to how they look now I didnāt realize how bad they had gotten!
Itās definitely scary seeing it go on! Itās like watery paint! But then the water dried and just the color is left. I did two couches and it took a little over an hour for each one. A large bottle (yes it needs lots of layers but not as much when covering lighter colors) it lasted for both couches but not the backside of the one against the wall so Iām getting ...More

Overall itās amazing!! Texture after feels chalky at first when compared to the greasy old seats but already smoother after a day. Maybe itās nice with the clear sealer but I way prefer a matte finish so I wonāt be using the clear coat.
Iām trying to think of all the other couches I can do this to now!!

I canāt say enough about this product and the repair kit. I have a 13 year old sofa and love seat that were really showing their age, plus we have a bunny who bite several holes in the seats. I ordered the dye, repair kit, cleaner and sealer. The shipping was super fast too! So I cleaned and prepped my sofas, and this is the point where they looked like I got them from a dumpsterš¤£ I have to say none of the products had strong odors ( I am chemical sensitive, I didnāt even notice a smell at all). My family left behind two months of grease, grime and ground in ink marks in my beautiful beige leather. I was devastated, But after cleaning it and applying Rub n Restore my sectional looks NEW! Iām getting ready to color match my sisters leather and completely amaze her.

After using a product on my black plastic trim on my two vehicles, it left white spots that would not come off. I called that company who told me to use rubbing compound or very high grit sandpaper, nothing worked. I was on the internet researching solutions when I saw a video of a woman from Rub and Restore using a black dye on her vehicle trim and it looked awesome. I called Rub and Restore and they told me exactly what to do and I bought a bottle of their black dye. It worked perfectly! Bought this product with a bit of skepticism that it could restore our leather couch which had seen a lot of use of the years. I stand corrected. The application was easy and the results are fabulous. Our couch looks new again.

I bought a Natuzi leather couch on Craigslist for $150 because I have pets and didn't want to spend a fortune on new only to have it thrashed. It was well built but had some discoloration and scratching. A friend suggested I recondition it and I found rub & retire videos on YouTube. Seemed too good to be true but I ordered it. Got my shipment in a few days, and after a few hours it was like I had a brand new couch. It's absolutely foolproof and felt like magic. It is the single most rewarding diy project I ever have done. I'll never buy new leather again.

I researched various ways to restore the plastic interior pieces of my Camaro and came across this product. I'm pretty impressed with the coverage. I followed the plastic prep instructions and applied. I'm curious to see how it holds up to the elements mainly the sun exposure. Hoping it lasts better than painting. Very happy! Thank you! I was skeptical upon reading reviews and when I purchased this product as it sounded way too good to be true. Our couch is 20 years old and besides the blue color that we hate, is in fantastic shape. They just donāt make couches like this anymore. The leather is such high quality and after seeing our friends fork over upwards of 10k for a new leather couch only for it to wear and break down within a few years, we knew we had to give this a shot. I would recommend to anyone in our position. If you love your couch but are tired of the color, this is the product to buy.
