We did our boat seats and were very happy with this product. Saved us thousands on re doing seats. It will require a few coats but good as new.

This stuff is AMAZING. Everyone who has witnessed the before and after of my furniture is amazed. My husband was absolutely shocked. The first coat almost gave me an anxiety attack because I didn’t know what to expect, but I trusted the process! One 16oz bottle was used for our large leather sectional (3 coats) and recliner (6 coats because it was originally darker than the sectional). It’s so nice to have matching furniture that looks brand new and really brightens up the room. And you cannot beat the price/quick shipping. I bought an extra bottle just in case one wasn’t enough, but I can’t wait to use it on other projects.

This product, and the 3 others I have tried, are amazing! We are restoring a boat. The seats had all kinds of mold stains and discoloration. Now...they literally look like new seats. I applied the clear sealer finish, and the shine is great. I can't say enough good things about this product.

We recently moved long distance choosing to save only a few pieces of furniture. This included our leather sofa and ottoman. The brown color went great with our old house with all warm tones, but in the new house all done with cool tones, it really looked out of place. I really didn’t want to buy new just because of the color, so did a lot of research online & found your product. I took advantage of your customer service to get your opinion on the pet damage & discoloration plus advice on how much to buy, even received samples for the color selection. I really didn’t want to buy new just because of the color, so did a lot of research online & found your product. I took advantage of your customer service to get your opinion on the pet damage & discoloration plus advice on how much to buy, even received samples for the color selection. I also watched multiple videos on the application process, both those offered by RubnRestore, as well as some YouTube ones. One of the YouTube videos stresses not skipping the surface prep (same as on your website) and seems like most of the negative reviews on your product are from people who did not do the necessary prep and research. Yes, it took time to do the cleaning and repair steps, but it paid off with what looks like a new sofa and ottoman that look like they were designed for our new home. The recommended amount provided full coverage with plenty left for any repair. I did the ottoman first about 6 months ago to see how the product worked and held up before moving to the sofa. Not a scratch or sign of fading. I was also happy to be able to choose the gloss level in using the clear seal product on the final coat. Thanks to customer service for all your help and to RubNRestore for such a great product!

I was able to revive a set of vintage vinyl chairs by using the black dye on the top portion of the chairs. I will say, it was important to use alcohol and the Flite cleaner to get these filthy chairs prepped. I had previously cleaned them with mild soap, but Flite really picked up so much more! I also used the filler and denim patches that I purchased from Amazon to fill in the bigger tears. I didn't do a professional job here, but it still made a big difference.

When it was time to color, we took the chairs apart, since I didn't want to get black on the original Mustard colored seats. Then I used a foam brush to apply (although that is not recommended). It took about 3 coats to cover the mustard with black.

I used the clear prep + primer alone over the black and it was really sticky after drying. Lesandre advised to mix the color and the clear to remedy. That did the trick.

So in conclusion, the chairs are not perfect (largely due to my inexperience), but what a transformation! Great products for restoring and changing the color of vinyl furniture!

Let me start with my skepticism about painting furniture. We went furniture shopping and got sticker shock the moment we walked into one those ā€œoutlets.ā€ We weren’t impressed with the quality and options that were available. ā€œThey don’t make them like they used toā€ is definitely in play here. With the power of the internet, I googled other approaches and found your product rub-n-restore. Read the reviews, watched the videos and ordered the marine white. I have to be honest, I didn’t set the bar too high, and was not sure what to expect. Our lazy boy is almost 30 years old, chocolate brown in color. It’s a good quality chair, comfortab...More

I have to be honest, I didn’t set the bar too high, and was not sure what to expect. Our lazy boy is almost 30 years old, chocolate brown in color. It’s a good quality chair, comfortable, with no issues, except for the dark color, I wanted an updated look. The process was long, it took us about 6 hours to complete, and after the third coat I was really doubting our decision. It took about 6 coats before I started to see some hope. About 8-10 coats (lost count) into it, we saw it! Thank you for creating this product that turned our well loved recliner into a newer updated version. The compliments we get from family and friends are amazing, they think we got a new chair. We are going to wait to see how it wears after a while before we tackle our coach.

I would rate it 0 stars if I could. Bought 2 of their biggest bottles to do 2 pieces of furniture. It looks great if you never use the furniture. Once you start sitting on your furniture, it rubs off. $150 down the toilet. Customer service offered me 15% off my next purchase, how generous of them...Why would I buy more of this crap? It literally says on the bottle that it will never peel or rub off! False advertisement at it's finest. This product is a rabid dog, take it out back and kill it.

I only had to use one coat of the cognac base color to make my couch look new again and it was so easy to apply. I am truly amazed.

I am finally happy with my leather sectional! It was originally brown and my floors are brown so it just all blended together! When I saw your product I had some hope! I wasn’t sure I could do it but your videos gave me courage! So I now have a navy blue sectional that stands out in the room! It is absolutely beautiful and I get compliments all the time!! If anyone is on the fence, just do it! Thank you for such an awesome product!!

I love this product so much! It was so easy to apply and I could not be happier with the result. I will be on the lookout now for leather furniture that needs a spruce up such as this and will be ordering more product!!! Thank you!

I have only had the opportunity to apply one coat so far but the first coat is great. I am sure when the second coat is applied the cushions will look new. Great product!

We purchased a couple of older leather chairs at an estate sale 6 years ago and used the beige to refinish them. People were amazed at the results! Six years later they still look amazing. The only visible wear is on the two ottomans where people put their shoes. I'm getting a bottle to retouch them and expect it to look great in no time. REally an incredible product.

Amazing product! I used rub n’ restore on a recliner that was old and faded. I’m so glad we didn’t get rid of the chair and took a chance to restore it. It worked wonderfully!

Excellent product. Three light coats of Espresso very well covered the worn area on my favorite leather recliner. The sealer/conditioner brought the sheen back to match the remainder of the chair. Glad I found your site!

Works well. Just needed few drops on my plush leather couch, since my dogs freshly administered flea repellent stripped the dye right off. This stuff brought the color right back. Beware of wet K9 Advantix ll on leather!

We had custom color to match our original color. We received everything we needed, mixed all ingredients and applied as directed. Great outcome! Our 20 yr old furniture looks new. It took about an hour to do both pieces. Used 3 coats on the major wear areas.
