We have two West Elm leather chairs less than three years old that faded dramatically from their original dark blue. Sadly we thought we might have to replace them before I discovered Rub N Restore. I can't believe the amazing transformation! I now want to refresh all my leather furniture. I especially liked how the Clear Prep + Finish created such a soft even look. Super happy :)

This beige is slightly less yellow than the original leather I wanted to recover. While closely matched, I like the Rub 'n Restore shade much more. It made my sofa/recliner set look new. The beige did not cover a dark, worn area easily, however. I used filler to hide/level some cracks in the old pigment. It required 5-6 coats of beige over the repaired area to blend, so I'm apprehensive about how well it will hold up under renewed use. That said, I'm very happy I bought this product and the overall effect is excellent--every bit as good as I'd hoped for.

I second guessed my decision to use this product. But I could not have been more pleased. If there was a word above EXCELLENT, I would use it.
One 8 oz bottle of each color was more than enough to complete the entire 1971 Plymouth Duster. Have plenty left over for touch ups .
The price to dye the entire car was much less than to replace one of the door panels.
Normally we do not buy vinyl or leather upholstery because they can cause 3rd degree burns here in Arizona. But this is a classic car and it was built with vinyl seats.

I complimented you after the 1st time I used your product (Slate), and I just wanted to compliment you again. I believe this is the 3rd color (Cognac) that I've used. I may end up using a slightly lighter color on this project (Camel) after all, but that is independent of the quality & ease of use of the product . . . EXCEPTIONAL!

I am a researcher so I looked into all the ways to diy a leather couch restore. Im so glad I chose this product. It was truly “easy” (definitely time and elbow grease but so straight forward) and I am still amazed at the results! I have a brand new couch! And I’m thrilled to have this in standby for the inevitable kid touch ups.

Thanks to you and your videos and products, I restored my 15 year old recliner. I didn’t want to get rid of it because it is high quality so comfy, and both my husband and I love it. As you can see, it had become faded over time. The leather was ripped, so I cut a hole. I used the sub patch and purchased a leather piece from Amazon. Then I used the filler product. I followed your directions, and we think it came out beautiful. The color was perfect like when it was new, and love the clear finish. Sure we will enjoy it for years to come. Many thanks.

Per our conversations and your great recommendations I successfully used the two color combination of 1 part mahogany and 2 parts walnut. I’m beyond elated with the results. I don’t know why I tried a different product’s leather balm and cleaner that made matters significantly worse. I had already used your black solution to perfectly restore an expensive sofa; lesson learned. I appreciate you and your amazing product and the assistance to use it properly. I was sceptical at first wondering if this work work on a used pleather ottoman that had hidden white water marks covered up with something. Followed the simple instructions and two coats restored to like new. Very impressive! I used the conditioner to seal it and match the somewhat glossy finish. Buy this product.

I was refurbishing a garbage pick for personal use. Saw this product after many quotes to dye and re-upholster. I went from dark to darker which I recommend. I also recommend the sealer which I did not purchase initially but did after the fact. Overall success.

20 year old Natuzzi leather couch was really dry and absorbent. I started with Amazon and found Leather Max and Furniture Clinic. I searched Youtube also for tutorials and that's how I came across Rub'n Restore. It would've saved me so much time if I had started with you guys. I ordered two kits from Leather Max and the original order was incomplete. Amazon told me to contact Leather Max which I did, but they didn't respond. I did get the missing items, but I believe Amazon sent them to me.

I did a little research and found this product from Rub and Restore. I was nervous to order because of the price and because I had no idea how the couches would turn out. Well, they turned out BEAUTIFUL! It took 4 coats on each coat (an hour a coat/couch). The couches are a pretty brown (a much more modern look). This product has taken an inexpensive auction find and turned it into a fabulous showpiece for my home. I cannot say enough about this product, and tell everyone I know about it. It is easy to use, and a little goes a long way. Highly recommend!!
