Soft Filler is a water-based repair compound. Use a heat lamp, incandescent bulb or sunny window to cure filler until clear and no longer tacky. Do not use hair dryers or heat guns. Keep refrigerated when not in use.Â
Color will be needed to conceal the repairs. Do not used alcohol-based dyes or finishes over Soft Filler.

This was my first time repairing leather as well as using this product. I was amazed at the transformation of my antique chair! The product filled in beautifully and the only flaws were due to my inexperience at texturizing the final layer (although others didn't see any problems with my repair job). I was glad to have the pieces in the kit for this first job since I didn't have all the sandpaper choices already. I didn't use as much filler as I thought but plan to repair another chair with it.

We had 3 fairly good size holes in one of our leather sofas and I was able to repair the holes using the subpatches and the filler. I used the entire container of filler and did 3-4 layers each. Was never able to get it to look perfectly smooth even after much sanding but with the dye, it is substantially better and we won't have to splurge on a new set yet. Thanks!

I use this stuff to mend my sofa which is already torn here and there... plus the Subpatch...
The outcome is really amazing.
I do not need to dispose of my sofa, yet, it looks all good again!

A little tricky to use. Left lines, even after sanding. I think I will need to rework this. I'm a novice, so more experienced people get better results, I'm sure.

I thought it was a goner! Thank you for your detailed videos and wonderful products! I used Cherrywood, Walnut, Mahogany,Clear Prep and Finish and filler (of course).
The outcome is really amazing.
I do not need to dispose of my sofa, yet, it looks all good again!
