Repair cracks, tears or holes with this vinyl and leather fix kit.

Kit contains:

tub of low-heat / air-dry leather filler and vinyl repair putty;
tool options: needle tool (fine scratches or cracks), palette knife (holes and larger areas), plastic spreader;
sandpaper option (forego if repairing cat scratches on vinyl);
and written instructions.

Note that holes also require a subpatch kit. We do not recommend repairing peeling or flaking bonded and faux leather.

Product Details

Air-dry filler is a water-based repair putty. It is novice friendly and works on both leather and vinyl. Use a sunny window, heat lamp or incandescent bulb to cure until clear. Do not use hair dryers or heat guns. Keep refrigerated when not in use.

Color will be needed to conceal the repairs. Do not used alcohol-based dyes or finishes with this air-dry putty.

I wanted to thank you both for being there when I had questions regarding a recent project I did for my neighbor. For years he had wanted his club chairs to be presentable, but the high quotes he was getting stunted his hopes. He and I are both in our mid 60's with senior issues about money. I was able to provide him a fair quote due to the reasonable price of your products. I have had previous success using your products but one his chairs was going to be extremely difficult. I've nearly completed an auto seat repair and the product and training video I watched seem to be going as planned. Most everything is better the more experience you have but this seemed easy from the start.

It turned out really well and I wanted you to see!
We used 2 parts Rust and 1 part Cognac to match the color and a little Clear mixed in for satin finish.

Great product, easy to use if you follow the instructions properly. Used on 19 year old leather vehicle seats out of a junk yard and they turned out as close to new as possible with old very worn and ripped seats. Shown are front drivers and passenger seats have not got to the backseat yet.

This product is fantastic. I had professionals look at the rips in our leather recliner and they said buy a new one and wouldn't touch it. I was fortunate enough to find the Rub n Restore video on line and called them to discuss my problem. The video is the best! They came back with the product I needed and the rest is history. Very happy with this product! I was swindled into buying a “leather” couch. 3 years in and the couch started to peel. Chili pepper dye, soft filler and glaze was perfect. Trick is to go slow, plan on many days to do it right, and don’t over texture. I will be a returning customer! Before, during, and after below!

Attached are the pictures from my couch. It took me a couple of weeks and it came out OK....Not perfect as it was so bad I really should have had to tops of the cushions replaced. I would give it 4 stars, as I did not find it very sandable. Thanks

I was skeptical that I could pull this off. I have two love seats that had several cracks in the vinyl and in need of new color. I had considered having them reupholstered but the cost is so high. I made the repairs with the Soft Filler then recolored them with the Walnut Dye. I finished up with the Clear Prep and Finish and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

I think this product is great. Does a wonderful job. Didn’t understand why the furniture dealer couldn’t do this. So much for extended warranties! And Bobs furniture! I followed the directions and my couch turned out like new.. Good match also, so worth the money!

I had bought the sub patch and filler kits. The sub patch kit worked great and the filler kit just as well. I had everything I needed to fix my leather sofa from a reckless child with a cigarette. And then I used the filler to go over some stitching that we had done on said sofa as one of the seams was coming apart. After the stitching was done you could see a little bit so I used the filler over the stitching and then colored it my paint. It looks great.
