Starter Color Analysis Fee includes:

  • Testing of various color combinations directly on your swatch to achieve the closest match. We’ll also determine if Clear Prep+Finish™ is needed.
  • A follow-up email with photos and our recommendation within two business days after both the sample and payment have been received.

If our line of colors do not yield a satisfactory match, you can upgrade to a Custom Color and pay only the difference.

All colors and Clear Prep+Finish™ sold separately. This service does not count toward free shipping and is non-refundable.

NOTE: You will need to mail a swatch of the material that you want to match.

To order, print and complete the Color Request Form and send it with your sample. Include a check (American banks only) or pay with a credit card by adding the service to your cart.

    A mix of the Forest and Cognac (thanks to the personal help from CC) produced the exact green I was looking for. Not only did this product transform a teal leather into a NEW chair, it took away the scars of years of use. The videos and personal phone help gave me the confidence to do this. I am a retired decorative painter, and went into this project with a definite color and professional results in mind. I received both and will use this product on another leather chair I have at our summer home. Thank you, Rub ‘n Restore–this is an amazing product.

    I sent a sample of my sofa to Rub ‘n Restore. They analyzed it for free and recommended a 2:1 ratio of Wine and Black rather than paying the extra fee for a custom color. Started the restoration of our sofa on the weekend. I can’t believe how it came out. It looks brand new! Glad I found Rub ‘n Restore. Great product.

    I did order the color match first, but decided to just order the mahogany color, received it today, applied per directions, fantastic transformation! So far, very pleased, hope it lasts. The sofa looks like new!

    I highly recommend this product for restoring worn out faded leather furniture. The process is time consuming but so worth the end results. I chose to do color analysis and the color was a perfect match to the original color.

    Frankly speaking I didn't expect that that matching would come out 100%. Credit goes to RubnRestore. I am a satisfied customer and would highly recommend sending in a sample for color analysis if you are not sure.

    My husband and I acquired a severely damaged couch and loveseat. Former owners had allowed a cat to claw and destroy the arms and back of the two pieces. The owners of this company matched the color perfectly, talked us through the repair and the color restoration. It was truly amazing! Great customer service and great product. Will recommend to everyone.

    Original Aniline chair that had faded to a golden amber from an orange/brown. First try with Cognac and Cherrywood. Too rust color for my liking but not terrible. Then added yellow oxide universal colorant to Cognac. I may change it to Espresso, flat, no shine later!

    Love seat purchased from the Salvation Army for $150. Amazing, almost like new, after dyeing using 1/2 black and 1/2 Cherrywood.

    I am an artist and I have done a lot of restorations with a lot of products and polyurethane and paints. Your product is off the charts amazing. It doesn't have noxious odors, doesn't stain anything except what it's supposed to stain, is completely brush - stroke forgiving, doesn't ruin my clothes, a project can be finished in a day....I could go on for pages! I am so happy I tried your product. Brown parsons chairs bought on eBay. Turned out to be very cheap looking and not leather. RubNRestore half Buttercup and half Sage. The photo looks lighter and yellower than the real green. The actual color is a light apple green. Love it. Thank you!!...More

    After much research I engaged Rub and Restore to match the color to an expensive leather recliner. The instructions were most helpful and above all, the color matched and we are restored to the original shade of camel. Staff were most helpful.

    I had a leather recliner I loved that had faded badly in the seat cushion. The rest of the recliner was 'as new'. I sent a swatch and a picture and they mixed 3 products and the result matched the original color EXACTLY. Application took about 20 minutes for 2 coats. This company, their service and their products are amazing. If you are matching an existing color you'll be shocked at how little product is required. I did 2 leather pieces and both bottles are still almost full.
