Wine to Cognac!
I read all the reviews, and while nervous, decided to go for it! I could not be happier with the updated look of my pair of leather chairs that went from an outdated wine color to a trendy cognac color. My biggest critics, the kids, loved the transformation! Great customer service too!
I had a red leather chair that I loved but the color was not working anymore with my decor. I wanted to buy a new Pottery Barn Chair in tan leather to go with my cream sectional but it was over $3800! I order the rub N restore rust and it was quick, easy and the result are amazing. I highly recommend the product!

Stunning Results
I had two dark brown couches that were in pretty good shape (some dog scratches and small tears) but they were too dark for our home. I found Rub-n-Restore online and ordered swatches so I could see the quality and the actual colors. After selecting a color (sage) and completing the online evaluation, I ordered the product. I received everything I needed to do minor repairs and instructions on how to apply the color (also watched the informative online videos). The evaluation provided by Lesandre was excellent and worth $10! She made recommendations on how to mix the color with the clear finish instead of applying the finish at the end to get...More

I received everything I needed to do minor repairs and instructions on how to apply the color (also watched the informative online videos). The evaluation provided by Lesandre was excellent and worth $10! She made recommendations on how to mix the color with the clear finish instead of applying the finish at the end to get a satin finish instead of a shiny finish. She also said going from dark to light was going to take more coats and lots of touch up. I started with coloring all of the stitching and tufting, then applied four coats of the color. The results were amazing! Each time my husband walked through the room he commented on how good it looked and how he couldn't believe it actually worked! Because I ordered the product, my $10 evaluation fee was refunded, and when I returned the swatches, I received a 10% discount on my order. Well worth the time and money to order swatches and to do the online evaluation. Looking forward to finishing up the second couch!

I used the clear prep to soften this rough leather that had been kept outside then dyed the leather to black. It is truly amazing and feels softer than it probably did when it was first made! I have had no peeling, fading or transferring so far either and this is coming from a probably cheaper leather material..so yeah, donāt hesitate!

I used this to prep a leather chair that had been kept outside for who knows how long and just one coat made it feel so soft and flexible again! It made for such an awesome base and top coat of dying the leather too. Get it even if you think you donāt need it!

We did our boat seats and were very happy with this product. Saved us thousands on re doing seats. It will require a few coats but good as new.

This stuff is AMAZING. Everyone who has witnessed the before and after of my furniture is amazed. My husband was absolutely shocked. The first coat almost gave me an anxiety attack because I didnāt know what to expect, but I trusted the process! One 16oz bottle was used for our large leather sectional (3 coats) and recliner (6 coats because it was originally darker than the sectional). Itās so nice to have matching furniture that looks brand new and really brightens up the room. And you cannot beat the price/quick shipping. I bought an extra bottle just in case one wasnāt enough, but I canāt wait to use it on other projects.
Our recliner finally matches our sectional!
