I bought this to paint a lazy boy reliever chair we’ve have for over 20 years. The chair was in good condition I just wanted to change the color so that it Coordinated better with the room. The video tutorials on line were very helpful in knowing how to clean the chair before painting and then how to apply the paint correctly. I did probably 8 or 9 light coats of the paint and used about 3/4 of the bottle. I ended up using one of those cheap foam brushes to get into the cracks and creases of the chair in the head rest and seat areas. The sponge just wasn’t able to get into those little creases well enough. Clean up is super easy as you just throw away your sponge when Finished. I also ended up painting the wood arm rails on the chair because covering with painters tape was kind of a pain. The paint actually applied to the wood really well too. I only did about three coats on the wooden arms. I dont know how it will hold up over time. I may just do a layer of Polycrylic over the wooden arms to keep them from chipping. I am very pleased with the results. Friends can’t believe I was able to change the color by painting. It feels just as soft as it did originally.
